So? You personally wasn't a slave. The bottom line is racism is discrimination against other groups of people. So why discriminate against another race by saying one race can use a word because they were associated more heavily with it? In theory, why is that any different to black people not being allowed to sit down on buses?

Right, so if racism is alive then surely you'd want it to stop, especially as a black person? So why are you racist, no matter what the context, for saying it if you're white when you can when you're black? If its all about equality then perhaps you should re-evaluate that. Is a white person racist for saying it in the EXACT same way and context as a black person?
