I agree, they very well may be editting things out. We can only go on what we see though. I've ied to give her the benefit of the doubt, its just constant with her though. I don't think other housemates sing to their food...

In regards to being nasty, I think its all fun and games on here. This is an internet message board where every miniscule detail gets ridiculed. Its part of the game. I've said things about other housemates as well, not just Becky. I'd never say it to her in real life if I just so happen to meet her at a party one night.

Adam doesn't make an issue about his weight and talk about it. Becky is the one that brings the topic around to food and her own weight. That's the difference.
If people were attacking Becky for being fat then fair enough but it's her that brings these conversations on herself.
People outright bitching, like Ashleigh, have also been bitchy about Adam's body, not just Becky.

Also, it's not that I don't understand that someone can be happy with their weight. Of course they can. I simply don't believe Becky because she's a walking contradiction. If she wasn't bothered then she wouldn't constantly go on about it, or make her entire VT and entrance schtick about it.

She made herself "the fat girl who loves eating burgers", so has brought it to everyone's attention. Adam hasn't. He actual has a personality and topics of conversation away from what he looks like. Yes, BB's editing is partly to blame but she didn't exactly give much else to concentrate on before entering the house.

Speaking as a woman who used to be much larger than Becky is now, and is now much smaller - nope, not really. At least, not as a blanket statement. Most people of reasonable intelligence can tell someone being sincere from someone being a passive aggressive twatwaffle. The kinds of comments Caroline and Ashleigh are prone to making fall in that 2nd category.

Deana or Sara, who have a professional interest in maintaining their body weight are going to notice if they gain a pound or two, and shouldn't be forbidden from verbalizing that realization just because there's a fat chick in the room. I saw countless friends over the years who'd been skinny all their lives suddenly have to deal with gaining weight because they'd had a baby or gone off the college to live on french fries and beer, and when they complained about getting fat, I didn't internalize it and take it as some passive aggressive attack on me. I felt sorry for them and gave them advice, because seriously, you want diet advice, talk to a fat chick, not someone with the metabolism of a shark.

The fact that hearing Deana or Sara say they feel fat or that they're getting fat (very likely, they've both gained weight, since they're in a sedentary environment with a lot of bad food and alcohol) is enough to set Becky off, means she absolutely is not comfortable -she's oversensitive about it. Just like her VT where she says people make comments and she doesn't care - obviously she does care, or she wouldn't be putting people up for eviction because they dared mention their own weight gain in her presence.

Hey even I laugh at the funny comments said in jest but some are plain ignorant and so unfunny 'fatty boom boom' gawwwd what a cringe!

But as Kate said my biggest pet peeve is judging appearances, I seriously only care about improving how I look not everybody else in the world.

The only reason she got in was because she is fat. Her vt basicly said 'Hi I am Becky, I am fat and I eat allot. Watch me eat a basket of burgers'

Ive only ever seen Deana go on about it to Becky, and I really do think people are misunderstanding her frustration. Especially when Deana is such a pretty dainty girl it must bug her and Becky is not as wise as you and wont take that into consideration but thinks shes hinting at her.

Dont get me wrong I do think Becky's attitude it mindless, but if she says shes happy Im not gonna be 1 to question it.

Congrats with the weight loss btw, sounds like amazing effort and dedication went into it

..although I don't agree that Becky's appearance should be used as an insult against her and people should only be looking at her qualities as a housemate..I do think that for a 19 year old girl her weight is unhealthy, which is what Deanna was trying to say to her..it's one thing saying she's quite happy with it, the same as a smoker may say they're fine with what they're doing too but people have the right to point out that these things have health implications because that is a fact

Deana isn't exactly thin though, and although Becky shouldn't have to deal with people laughing at her because she's fat in the same way she can't expect people not to mention it at all just because she is overweight imo.

The way she was making that noise with her legs, that's not treating herself with respect, it's making herself into a object to laugh at.

I like Becky but if she don't change her attitude with food she will end up one of those people who are unable to walk because of their weight. She is only 19 and she is that big and on top of that she does not care and continues to eat carelessly.
