The media have spun a story to suit their needs to sell a paper. It's happened many times before and not everytime is the person guilty. I stand by my stance innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

They have over hyped it yes your right but the point remains everything so far all the evidence etc says this guy is guilty and he isn't exactly helping himself at the minute

I'm not saying he isn't guilty, but the media can twist things to suit their need, they have done it before and will do it again. This man may be guilty but until a court of law proves this, he is innocent to me.

Well he's Guilty to me as there is to much that links him to it so until he is released without charge then he's not Innocent and we can't always blame the Media they are just doing a job and some do it better then others obviously

I'll be honest I havent really been following this case much til now, as I dont tend to read the media witch hunts. But after reading up a bit on it, this struck me as a bit odd.

The fact the bloke isn't talking, seems quite suss to me. I am not saying I agree with the media reporting, they delve far too much into lives and cause a lot of unnecessary heartache in a lot of cases, and their bile can ruin many a life, as things printed are there no matter what and can't be undone once the damage is done. But can't help thinking that Nova could be right on this one, there are too many things don't add up that point this bloke's way. If little April is still alive, then him refusing to talk could prolong that fact that very soon she might not be. I so hope that she is alive, but can't help thinking that with each passing hour it is less likely now

[2] good post Suze, pretty much my way of thinking too, the Media are a disgrace with some of the things they do, they frequently go way to far and should be pulled into line. The fact he is refusing to talk seems very suspicious, and as I say my gut instinct says guilty, felt the same in the Ian Huntley case, he reeked of guilt.

5.55pm The focus of the interviews with Mr Bridger has been trying to find any information about where April is, Det Supt Bevan said.

The senior officer would not reveal what the 46-year-old had said to avoid jeopardising the search.

He told reporters: "He has been interviewed twice. Clearly, our focus in those interviews, as it is in this whole inquiry, is to find April. That is primarily what we've been discussing with him.

"What I don't want to do is compromise the investigation or any chance of finding April, so unfortunately I can't divulge exactly what he's told us so far."

Where have the accusations of him not talking come from? Nothing in this update suggests that at all. Only that he is still being interviewed.

Ugh. According to DS sky news were interviewing the suspects SON earlier. His son who has only known him a year. And who is under no type of suspicion whatsoever (well, not to the police. Some at DS have decided that because he was scratching his ear during the interview he is guilty )

Obviously everyone wants this child to be found, but reporters and such need some ****ing boundaries tbh.

what i don't get is we have one of the best and biggest army in the world why not make them do some thing useful and help look for April
