What is it that people aren't getting?

EVERYONE in that house, people whose judgement i trust (Michelle, Cheggars)
has said that Katie is a nice person.

Why are people who like her and getting on with being lambasted?

Is it possible that Hopkins is just a nice person. A grumpy, opinionated, flawed and hilarious person.

I wish people would just stop being so butt hurt about things she's said in the past. Get over it already

People aren't sensitive or weak, they dislike Katie Hopkins, and find her ridiculous views and her complete nastiness towards the vulnerable or people she views as being weaker, to be disgusting.

Why on earth would celebs living in a house with her make them change their mind?

It's alright for you to say 'get over her views from ages ago' just because you want to support her in a month long tv show but the fact is those views that she has spewed over the media and internet for years aimed at certain people are extremely hurtful, nasty and completely unnecessary.

Added to that she's a serial marriage wrecker.

AND she regrets nothing, her own words.

So why don't you start accepting that other people disagree with you, instead of constantly stating your opinions as FACT!

I watched her documentary, and you could actually see her personality changing. I think it opened her eyes, watching her interviews pre-documentary and post, she's so much nicer now.

Hopkins is vile commenting on things like the Glasgow helicopter crash is VILE. She is not a nice person she is horrid and she has hoodwinked most of the house she's playing a game and she wouldn't give any of those housemates her time of day in the real world.

If a couple of weeks of TV fakeness convinces you then that's your choice but the woman has been vile to the core for years (she broke up three marriages ffs!!!) and i'd rather judge someone on what they do in the real World than on CBB.

Anyone who is knowingly malicious and spiteful cannot be considered a 'nice person'. Even if it is just a character that they are playing.

To me the fact that she is a bright individual that comprehends the possible ramifications of the things she says may cause, makes her a worse person than the people that offend but are rather oblivious to how others may feel. The fact that it's an act makes no difference.

I can believe that she is being nice and lovely and warm to most of the people in the house and that they genuinely like her.

I'm just not so sure whether that's because she has a nice side to her, or if it's more because she is a bit cowardly when in a face to face situation with strong personalitys, and for an easier life is less outspoken against them but more outspoken against people who she already knows are seen as weaker or unpopular in the house.

I'm sure she probably does have some nice traits though, most people do.

Don't think I'd agree that she's a mostly nice person in general though.

I dont see how you can say that she hasnt confronted people in the house, Katie wasnt the one hiding under the duvet, like Nadia, Katie has told people when she thought they were dicks from Day 1, particularly the tosser Perez

She can confront but she can also have fun, get on with people etc

Im betting the newspapers are gutted that her and Katie Price are getting on so well lol

I do think, though, that Katie P has kept KH cause she was popular when KP went in

Oh no she totally does confront people, but it seems to only be the ones she views as weaker and that are already a bit less popular in the house. Like everyone hates Perez so she won't get many complaining about that there. She views Alicia as dumb as do a lot of the others, and she said herself she wouldn't be on about her so much if she wasn't so weak/thick.
She must know by now that Nadia will just keep waking away to avoid arguing with her so she knows that she can rant away and that Nadia will do feck all. With these 3 people she also knows that nobody in the house is going to come running to their defence and most will be in agreement with her so it's not that big a deal to be confrontational with them.

For all her views about tattoos, and girls like Katie P etc, she does nothing but be sweet and lovely towards Cami, Chloe and Katie P. Michelle came across as very strong and not to be messed with in her vt, and she was nice to her straight away too. Basically I could never imagine her being so upfront and confrontational face to face with Michelle if she did have an issue whereas she would have no problem doing so with a less popular housemate.

I could be wrong and maybe she has been very opinionated and upfront with all her friends in there too at some point, but we haven't been shown it if that's the case.
