I don't want ANYONE with a free pass. There is simply no need in a twist like this so close to the final. I also am 100% against BB picking a housemate. Had the housemate entering the safe house been a result of a public vote then fine but I feel totally manipulated by then shoving Perez in, it feels like a desperate ploy to keep him in after he was so close to going against Alicia.

I think he would definitely be up every week anyways so there's no change there really. It will force the remaining housemates to nominate different people now though to go up along with him (if people vote for up every week option).

I don't think he should get a pass to the final because his enemies in the house will still taunt him saying that he didn't earn his place. So it would be good if he got put up every week and then he could say he really earned his place (maybe even morseo than some of the rest of the housemates) if he survived.
