Loathe Jen, i couldn't believe she nearly had a nervous breakdown over her picture.

I'm liking this series so far - Kail, Daniele, Jessica & Dirk are my favourites and i like Jameka too. Initially i thought Kail would be rubbish from her VT but she got right in there with her alliance and is playing the best game so far.

Ruth, BB US is completely different than UK, you need alliances to survive in the game, BB US is actually a game rather than a popularity contest which is why i prefer it.

I love the 2 first shows, they are great ! This season rocks and the cast is wicked. It's not going to be boring this year. I love Jessica because she's being a bitch, Joe because he's funny, Daniele because she makes the show and finally Kail because she's a great game-player.
I want Amber go go because she has nothing to offer, if Carole stays, the drama will be so much better between Jessica and her.
I think Dick is a great game-player too but quite evil to do that to his daughter, he asked her to make an alliance together.
Then I love the show and I can't wait to watch tonight's show !

With the ratings from Monday and Tuesday, for the weekly ratings Big Brother is #12 households and #7 in demos. It's competition in it's time slot The Singing Bee was #1, MLB All Star Game #2, and America's Got Talent #3 in households. The Singing Bee #1, America's Got Talent #2, and MLB All Star Game #4 for demos. Yeah I feared this, fortunately a rerun of House will be in the All Star Game's spot again starting next week.

Also I want to point this out to everyone. Big Brother USA does have two companion shows. Housecalls: The Big Brother Talk Show airs at http://www.cbs.com/primetime/bigbrother8/ . Starting in season 5 it premiered and was hosted by a radio talk show host named Gretchen Massey and Marcellas Reynolds from bb3 and all stars. Gretchen hosted it with guest hosts last year while he was in the house. CBS decided not to bring him back. She hosted it by herself on Friday, then on Monday she hosted it with Bunky from bb2 and all stars. Yesterday Holly from bb5. Today Robyn Cass the casting director. Viewers call in to ask questions and they have guests. On Fridays they have the evicted houseguests. Also this year is the first year for After Dark on sho too which is just like Big Brother Live for three hours. Housecalls airs at 6pm England time and then it is archived.

Just watched this on the internet, the housemates look amazing this year I love the rivals twist, it's so good. I'm sure to be watching this all summer, it looks great! My fav's at the moment are Daniele and Jessica, I think Joe is a sneaky gameplayer!

She doesn't like the way the highlight shows are done.
I agree. I like the music at the start where they recap the episode but it annoys me how it is played throughout the whole thing.

Yes. Tonight's episode is live in America. Only like 5 or 10 minutes will be high lights. Then they will show an interview with some family/friend of houseguests or they might have a where are they now special, but since last year was all stars not sure. Then Julie will talk to house. By this time she will have said but first at least 10 times. Right before commercials you will see what the housemates have to say about the nominees in the diary room and see how some of them voted. She will then give the two nominees one last time to speak to their housemates. She will then say by a vote of such and such a number so and so you have been evicted. They then have one minute to leave the house. Julie will then talk to them for about 5 minutes outside. Then the power will be up for grabs with the live head of household competition. Julie will probably mess up some how with that. Then after that she will talk to them again in the living room. Then she will say to the viewers for now we leave you evesdropping on the houseguests, from outside the big brother house I'm Julie Chen, good night.

This is my first series so I can't compare, but its definately been entertaining so far.

To be honest, I think I'm enjoying the US BB more than our own version so far!

Jen is a stupid, deluded girl, she really does get more pathetic by the episode. She's made me laugh, but I still don't like her.

I think I'd like Amber to stay more, but if the houseguests want to make the best tactical decision, they might be better keeping Carol, because if they keep a pair of enemies in the House together and play them off against each other then they could buy themselves another week.

So far I like Jameka, Jessica, Danielle and Dick the most.

I dislike Jen, Joe and Kail the most, but I'm impressed by Kail's alliances, she might be in for the long haul. Unfortunately.
