The thing is if they're both innocent then they've made themselves appear a lot more suspicious which would be a shame as the real culprit would be getting away with being detected.

It makes sense why the Police would think that.

Because my theory is that Madeleine banged her head while the parents were out for their meal, and one of them came back to find her dead body. And the rental car has been used to help dispose of her body.

It's not the most original theory, but it makes sense.

She listed loads of the questioning the parents went through and how evasive they were.
Why would parents losing a child like that even want to begin to be evasive and NOT answer questions put to them.

Shouldn't the parents want to fully cooperate in cases like this? Because they're not helping themselves if they are innocent by being so evasive.

Well, have you read this statement made to the Police by the wife of one of Gerry McCanns ex colleagues/friends who went on a previous holiday with them in that group? I can't imagine why this woman would make this up

I agree. . The whole circus surrounding this tragedy is preposterous .

These poor people have been through pure hell every moment since she went missing and rather than getting the sympathy and understanding they deserved - they have had to endure years and years of sickening accusations
