How can none of the Scotland team be considered close contacts but Mount and Chilwell are?

Surely being in the same bubble as Gilmour makes it more necessary that you isolate when he gets covid as you're sending all your time with him as oppose to two guys who came close to him for 30 seconds after the match

gilmour was already in the scotland bubble and is now in quarantine, but he interacted with those 2 in another bubble and they will be concerned that they pass it to the other england players which is why they have to isolate

Still makes no sense to me lol, all those in the Scotland bubble are much more at risk of being infected than Mount and Chilwell yet they isolate while the Scotland team all continues to travel around, interact with dozens of people and play a match where they'll come into very close contact with another team

Southgate on the England/Scotland game

I'm not sure what game he was watching, but it wasnt the one on Friday

There is definately something dodgy about Scottish players who came down to London with Billy not having to isolate

yes two players who spent some time in the tunnel (which is full of fresh air) with him have to isolate

they have their rules. So much about the isolation system seems to be particularly ridiculous, but they all agreed to the procedures specifically within football for it to be allowed to continue during the pandemic

Sounds like it's up to the individual FAs so the English FA are being super cautious while the Scottish FA are being cavalier about it because they need to win

does anyone know yet if the semis and finals will go ahead at wembley? I think that argument of quarantine requirements is going to get very interesting, particularly if England reach the semi's
