It's definitely sketchy, but 17 is legal age in the UK.

I feel like the Media keep trying to find their next Meghan Markle when it comes to witch hunts with these Schofield, Edwards & Wootton probes, and look if any of them are guilty then fair enough, but I will try to assess them as innocent until proven guilty until there is 100% proof that one of them is guilty.

17 is not legal when it comes to explicit pictures. Look at any porn site on the internet and they say that all are over 18. That's why pervs get a kick out of getting pictures that are under 18, and why people like Huw pay such large sums of money

Fair enough.

I just thought that Porn sites put that up for American productions because the legal age over there is 18, fair enough if I'm wrong about that.

Either way on the legality front it's definitely odd that a guy in his 60's would want a 17 year old's nude pictures.

it's about power and exploitation. Rich pervs will pay serious cash to get their hands on porn that that isn't available through other means and 17 is the ideal age because its still wrong but they can try to use the plausible deniability defence

it all blew up when Traci Lords, an american porn star, appeared in hundreds of hardcore porn movies aged 15. The western world went crazy, the internet porn industry at that time was basically closed down. It was really crazy, there was a site called babylon that had completely cornered the market and were absolutely raking it in, but they hosted illegal stuff and that was the end of them

Jc! That's terrible.

Basically CP was hitting the mainstream (by Porn standards anyway) I'm honestly amazed that the industry managed to bounce back from that.

It also makes you wonder if similar dodgy practices have happened on other occasions, but have just never been caught.

Now that is something we agree on, it is strange that the majority of msm is completely silent on this story, especially considering how rabid they were about Schofield and Edwards, it would be very easy to assume that due to the allegations already made, he has something on very important people that as a result, do not want to get involved
