watch it and tell us if they're proposing actual ads from commercially run clinics or just government sponsored public health campaigns ( which aren't ads btw).

In that Debate many agreed it should go forward,
as a Positive action.

Of Course there was a few people there as well
that were horrified with this idea.

commodification of health services is horrifying but are they talking about clinics advertising their services or are they talking about a simple government health warning that is taking the form of a TV campaign?

Theyre not proposing abortion clinic ads...theyre "proposing" general pregnancy advisory ads. The anti-abortion lobby just think it'll pave the way for that....

"you need to understand,

sure it will ... and seems better than bogus abortion help lines run by Christian Church services that purport to give free and unbiased advice but only ever advice women to keep the baby.

As I have said I don't mind the idea of the helpline, as long as it is unbiased help and helps the girls come up with their own decisions and they should not promote or suggest abortion in anyway, just make the options clear.

No that is what the BBC debated.
The Idea of Ads got a good response.

This thread is correct from the original link.
