And what was the name? Cos I'm still a bit iffy on The Decider atm.

It wasn't too long haha

Basically the extra add on to the format was called Power or Privileges (that was also the name idea but hell no to that now you came up with the better name - I was trying to think of a name that centred around the sole person voting someone out but couldn't think of anything, you've got the right one though) and the idea was that the winners of the comps (the immunity and save + replace) are given the opportunity to either take the relevant power that comes with winning the comp, or to take a privilege instead. Those could range from idk being able to find out which two people a person of their choice nominated, getting an advantage/head start in the next competition, being able to remove someone from the next comp etc etc, they could vary each time. If they take the privilege they forfeit the power and have to pass it on to someone else of their choice which means they could really land someone in it if they forced them to vote someone out (especially if the people on the block were their friends)

idk if it overcomplicates things though

How were you thinking of deciding a winner? Just until everyones eliminated or a jury/public vote?

This is the bit I'm currently struggling with. When it gets to around Top 5-ish, how will I make it work? Cos The Decider will be immune since they won the challenge, and then all 3 non-immune players will automatically have to go up. Maybe all 3 compete for the 'save' part of the task but not the 'replace' part, and then The Decider eliminates one of the remaining 2 on the block.

And yes, I was thinking of just using a simple jury format but I'm not sure whether all players would be in the jury or if you have to reach a certain point to make it there. I guess it depends on the amount of people that sign up. But the jury effectively becomes the final 'Decider' so I think I want to include that in it.

I'm gonna consult you a lot during the brainstorming-phase of this if that's ok with you? I definitely need contribution from others since it'll be hard enough to figure everything out on my own

If anyone could help me with some challenge ideas and twists for The Decider, or artwork for it, I'd very much appreciate it

I have the format more or less done now, but I don't know what challenges and twists to do or what the logo/banner/icon will look like.

Yeah, I'm just going through the creation phase of it all now

I won't properly start planning until like July/September since I'm planning on doing it around Sept/Oct time.

I'm worried it'll bomb and I'll only get like 5 applicants

But I'll start having a think on some twists and challenges that I could include in it since that's what I'm lacking at the moment.

I doubt it will bomb Hayden, it's a great concept, original too. I love what I've seen so far. You might find it hard getting applicants, I did for the Apprentice, only half my lineup applied themselves, the other half were personally invited to play by me but they all said they enjoyed it. Then again because yours is completely new you might get a flood of players...

I'm hoping some of you who are giving me advice on what to improve/change will apply since you'll all be fairly familiar with the format by then.

I'll probably open apps a couple weeks before the start date (when I decide when that is

) so everyone will have enough time to decide whether they want to apply and also so I can ask people to apply if I am not getting enough applicants

Ben, would it be possible to book The Decider in for October? There's no point doing it immediately after Elimination but I might as well run it when there's nothing else on.
