The suspense at the beginning was insane, loved it all.

There settling the viewers in nicely, the characters are great.

It feels like Murder House mixed with Asylum.

Looks like it's finally gone back to how it was in MH/Asylum.

Hotel was by far the best opener, so tense and atmospheric. The foursome and all the drugs taking being shown quite graphically is a sign there making this season a darker one I hope

I really thought I wouldn't have enjoyed this episode when it began. I found the opening scene laughable, and this is coming from someone who is scared quite easily. However, it did get better as it went a long. I particularly enjoyed Wes Bentley & Chloe Sevigny, their sub-plot(?) is something I'm intrigued by.

Gaga was okay, I wasn't amazed by her. The whole vampire thing isn't something that interests me, but there's definitely potential with her character.

I love Kathy's character and Denis character, Denis looks like he will be brilliant in the series - I've never been keen on him.

Sarah as a villain is great, she suits and acts the part very well.

GaGa is also brilliant.

I find the whole mysterious guy who killing people and calling the detective really interesting.

So much better than Freak Show opener.

Yeah, Gaga's accent is a little weird.

But what did "Your son's got a jawline for days?" mean? I feel stupid.

I couldn't help but howl at Gaga's mostly silent scenes with her doing the vag lick at that woman

But when she suddenly appeared and slit the Swedish girl's throat.

Great first ep, abrupt ending but apart from that, very good opener. Great to see Kathy with a great character again and the whole 'are they/aren't they dead' plot is a welcomed return.

I'm really really hoping Constance is gonna be in the season, you'd think with her having the antichrist as a grandchild and Gaga kidnapping children they'd do some kind of link

I never thought about that but it makes me think they will.

Ryan Murphy did say that the links between seasons would be stronger as the show moves forward.

I do think Constance will appear and potentially be killed off so that the Countess can get her hands on the Antichrist. They said that the links between seasons would be stronger this time around so I definitely could see the kid playing a big role in the story in the later half of the season.
