I'm quite annoyed that they've released these spoilers to be honest. I wasn't expecting them to tell us what the stunt was as they've said that they'd be keeping it a secret, so I was casually looking through the soap spoilers and it said exactly what the stunt was.

I'm not annoyed, more disappointed. I think with the hype that they've built up for it, they would have managed to get enough viewers interested to see what exactly is going to happen. It does sound like it's going to be visually awesome but yeah they didn't have to reveal what is was.

Spoiler:

As for Finn, I'm going by an interview with Kate Oates - she's gone on about how the deaths (so she's practically confirmed there's more than one) were all based on who would have the biggest emotional impact on the remaining characters. With it being Debbie and Pete's wedding, the fact that another spoiler has said that Emma's insane side is going to come out and the fact that Finn knows about Ross and Debbie all leads to it being him, it's practically signposted. The only other option would be Pete and whilst I really REALLY hope it is him, I think it'll have a bigger effect on "remaining characters" if it's Finn. Which is a huge shame as I love the character and I actually think he's got a lot more potential.

I think Val has a big part to play next week. I think we'll probably be left wondering whether she's dead or whether she has faked it. But there's been no announcement of Eric leaving and I can't imagine Val would leave without Eric if she does fake her death.

As long as Val, Rachel & Ali are killed or leave next week then happy days.. I've got a horrible feeling from the promos that they are going to kill off more relevant than irrelevant characters.

I get the feeling Val and Finn will die in the stunt.

It's over dramatic, as Emmerdale has been for the past few years.
I know underhand dealings and infidelity does go on in rural villages, but only a fraction, compared to Emmerdale, where every other villager is either a murderer, planning a murder or having it off with someone else.
Emmerdale did very well for years as the sort of visual Mrs Dales Diary. Stories unfolded at a believable pace and the situations the villagers faced were likely to occur.
It seems that the producers of Eastenders, Corrie and Hollyoaks are in a contest to see who can provide the most shocks, instead of constant, quality viewing.

Yeah I think Finn is done for. Just for the storyline of trying to bring Pete and Ross closer together again.

I hAve never watched emmedale but I going to give it watch this week

I watch to watch the stunt , (liked trailer ) but now I know what it is , I am still going to watch it and compare to brooks ide one lol

(I think it 3 years ago were hollyoaks had bus crash trailer , got me to watch show, traiser worked on me and those epioseds blew me away, I never watched hollyoaks before the bus crash , then I was fan of the shown since then )

Will Dales win me over with it and will I end up sticking with it afterwards ?

The one thing it should be is better then Corrie fire week, hyped up boring week , no a patch on Eastenders live week.(which did not even need a stunt)

One thing Emmerdale has over EE & Corrie is that its big dramatic events are usually always the best.. no doubt next week will be great

one thing i did not get in kates interview was she said - we have to kill off big characters as no one cares about the not so big characters - but surely if you do that - the soap will be left with the NOT so big characters which in itself is defecates.
