Well it was a long time coming but we finally got an eviction that wasn't set in stone for days in advance and with a 'shock' (to Austwat at least!) result!!!! Finally a bit of excitement! As JohnnyMac said following his eviction vote "it's time for some blood" (or words to that effect).
I can't stand Vanessa and i really hope Steve's got the sense and balls to target her tommorrow but i still thought it was a really poor and immature way for Austin to react to her evicting him tonight!!!
It was done! There was nothing he could do about it so he should have taken it like the man he pretends to be instead of like a 4 year-old having a tantrum. What an absolute asshat!!!

I'm just crossing everything i can now that we'll get to see Vanessa's miserable Squidward mush looking extra miserable when she's evicted tomorrow night! That would be perfect. Surely it will occur to Steve that whoever evicts Vanessa will win huge favor with pretty much all of the Jury members ? But then Steve, for all of his academic intelligence, doesn't seem to have much common sense so it won't surprise me massively if Vanessa manages to dupe him into not nominating her.

Noms don't really matter at F4 though. Steve's HOH doesn't really grant him any power either, it's just fancy immunity. POV has all the power this week since they get to evict someone (or in Steve's case, decide who votes.) I don't disagree that Steve could get some credit for taking Vanessa out (or being HOH while she was evicted in this case) but I don't know if it'll be enough for him. It's weird because I think a lot of people are under the belief that he's Ian 2.0 but he doesn't really stand a good shot in a jury vote against anyone.

I'm no fan of Vanessa's (understatement!) so i'm not defending her but Austwat also had multiple 'set-in-stone' deals with other people and i don't doubt for a second that he would have done exactly the same to Vanessa as she did to him if he'd gotten the chance first!

He just confirmed last night just how deluded he's been and that BS jibe at Steve pre-eviction vote when he said he was Judas (yawn, yawn , snooooooze Austin!) and Steve was "the Boy". Probably the best episode of the entire Season!!!! (it doesn't have a lot of competition though!)
It was such a clear demonstration of why blinsides should be pulled off whenever and as often as possible.

I haven't liked Austwat from day 1 but i thought he'd accept his fate in a more mature manner!

The main reason I don't think Vanessa should win is I expect her to not actually own up to the way she played. I really think that she thinks she's playing with integrity and stuff and will say that she only ever broke her word to Austin or something like that.

If she completely owns up to her game then she pretty much deserves the win outside of a bitter jury. Although she also played a bit too paranoid and emotional to be considered a mastermind but it was still a good game nonetheless.
