Gaga's surprised me so far, she hasn't been given a lot to do but I think she's left a good impression on me so far. She's quite convincing in the role. I don't see much potential for Donovan's character though and I'm not keen on Iris' character, their storyline is a bit boring to me at the moment. I think it's just gonna be somewhat similar to the story of Constance and Tate in Season 1. I hope Evan and Finn's characters brings out something interesting in them.

I think Sally's the most intriguing part of the show so far.

I really don't think she's just a ghost and I think she has more to do with that demon then just being the 'Yin to his Yang'. I'm guessing that she is the demon. Sally is the benevolent side and the demon is the embodiment of her malevolence, anger and resentment. I could see it potentially being like a 'Grudge' style thing in that she died violently so she and the demon has became some sort of curse on the place.

I don't think Iris or Liz are ghosts either, they wouldn't be worried about losing their jobs (they wouldn't be able to leave any way) and I don't think Iris would be scared of the Countess if she was a ghost, what could she really do to her?

Definitely agree with the sally thing, especially as it stopped once she'd made the guy tell her he loved her, and maybe they don't know they're dead? just a theory anyway

Wednesday’s “Hotel” launch drew a 2.99 adults 18-49 rating with 5.807 million viewers. Both numbers narrowly trail those of the “Freak Show” premiere, which drew a 3.11 adults 18-49 rating with 6.127 million viewers.

The “AHS: Hotel” premiere did, however, markedly outperform the “AHS: Freak Show” finale. That episode drew a 1.6 adults 18-49 rating with 3.27 million viewers on January 21, 2015.

Really good numbers considering how bad freak show was plus with all streaming mediums now, it wouldn't surprise me if the premiere broke all other AHS records

Best opening by far, it feels a bit weird with the actors/actresses we usually support throughout the show being the bad ones in this season. Lady Gags was good but at the blood orgy

Asylum's the second best season overall but I hated the first episode.

I just watched the first episode. I loved it, the strongest opener since Asylum imo. It's really reminding me of those first two seasons so far actually.

Finding out Hallie the dog died was a bit of a downer, though.

I feel stupid for only just realising that the real estate lady who gave Will Drake a tour of the hotel is the same lady who sold the Murder House to the Harmons in Season 1

1. Sally is actually a man.

2. The Hotel Cortez actually does not exist.

3. Sally is the daughter of Ms. Evers (the maid played by Mare)



Surely #2 is the lie?

I think it might be 1 or 3. I could see them making it so that the Cortez only appears to people who are 'damned' or engage in self destructive behavior.
