If you have to take notes, how about take them in your normal speedy writing initially and then copying them up nearly afterwards when you're not rushing so they're easier to look back on?

That is a great idea, it sounds like a lot of work though, since I will be taking notes for like 6 hours per day.

Hmm. Yeah, only thing I could suggest is using a biro (black or blue) - teachers/lecturers frown usually on any other colour, and hurried writing in ink pens looks ten times worse than hurried writing in biro.
