..what time of day is it with you, what are you up to..apart from being on TiBB lol....

My landlords are doing a walk through tomorrow, yearly inspection. so i really need to do some cleaning tonight. I've let the place get a bit untidy this summer, so i've got some work to do. My stove especially is gonna take some serious elbow grease. It's stressful. I hate having people in my apartment.

...ughh, that's not good..it's hard to get motivated to clean when it's for something like that rather than you're just in the mood yourself to do it..what are your landlords like Alex, are they ok..?...do they do stuff quite quickly for you if it needs to be done..?..

They're okay. They've seen the place much worse, and they've never given me **** about it, but still, it's embarrassing for anyone see things less than perfect. It makes me feel like i'm on one of those TV shows with messy people and they are judging every little speck of dirt. It's not a big deal, but i have anxiety about anything and everything so it's just another excuse for my brain to freak out and beat myself up.

Are you a naturally tidy person? or are you messy?

..hmmm, I'm kind of super tidy in some ways but not in others..in that if people make a mess I just don't worry about it because I know it'll get cleaned up..does that make sense..?..it used to bother me but then I realised I was getting bothered over silly stuff that didn't really matter...but I know it's a bit different when you have a landlord which I don't..I remember once getting told off by this horrible landlady for having a 'bit of toast' on the floor in the kitchen...it wasn't a bit of toast, it was one of those cleaning scourer things..(I don't know what they're called in the US..) but it wasn't food related at all but she was so scary, I was too frightened to tell her she was wrong....ughhh she was awful...


...awww Alex, try not to get anxious about it because I'm sure that you're much more critical and aware of it than they will be and it'll just be fine..try if you can just to concentrate one one task as you're doing it, get that done and move onto something else etc and don't think or worry about the whole apartment and the whole task of it...just a little at a time......

...we're our own worst worries though aren't we..our heads kind of build things up and are always worse than reality, which is hardly ever as bad as we think it to be...but I'm sure it will be absolutely fine and perfect to everyone else Alex but just not to you if you're quite 'particular' about these things which I do understand...

...hmmm, I'm not really up to much atm, I have a bit of a back problem..(reoccurring..)..which is bad atm so I'm not working which I hate and am sooooooooooooo bored and getting really fed up with it...oh Alex, Livia is on a road trip in the US atm.....I'm not sure exactly where she'll end up but she was starting in Seattle and then just going to go where the mood took her...what an amazing thing to do..have you been on road trips..?...

I've driven across the US 8 times. unfortunately it was always in a circumstance that i needed to do it as quickly as possible, but i'd love to have 2 or 3 weeks to do it properly.

..kind of having to get somewhere quickly for a family'friend situation..?...yeah, I do think it would be such a cool thing to do and having a Winnebago type thing and just stopping in the middle of nowhere...but then I always think of those horror movies when people do that and it all ends very badly.....
