So was Udogie's. We wont get into it again, but if you think that Newcastle challenge was a bad tackle/leg breaker then you can't possibly say Udogie's wasn't either. That was my point on Monday. If you don't think jumping into a tackle, 2 footed, studs showing, and shin height isn't a red, then you can't be calling tackles like the one above a red card either.

Maybe Udogie’s was reckless and even dangerous but he was going for the ball

That one I just showed was just malicious and late . He knew he couldn’t get the ball

Prob angry as they were going to their second bad defeat in a few days

Yeah well you should probably be rooting for Chelsea tomorrow/later. Assuming Liverpool win, and with Arsenal's win today, a Chelsea win will help keep City off top.

Default Premier League 2023-24 Season - General Discussion
No thoughts on that cynical tackle by Caicedo ( as usual) to stop the Doku breakaway ?

6 minutes on the clock

Ref didn’t stop the play but also didn’t even have a word !
The same players seem to get away with murder

The majority of Newcastle United UFC
but mainly Joelinton ,

Fernandes and Martinez at ManU , Caicedo, Coufal etc etc.
There are others - they all get away with repeatedly fouling

I wish the refs would do extensive prematch research on all the players like Pierluigi Collina used to do

Caicedo has taken out Gvardiol about 5 minutes ago ( no yellow) then just did a two footed lunge on Grealish and also took out the ref !
