The Carters have had so many storylines than I don't think we will see different sides to them.

I agree with you re. the Carters. They've had a decade's worth of storylines in the space of two years. Kush and co. can do one as well.

I'm not into Vincent by any stretch and Kim's just an irritant even when they do try and engage her in more serious storylines and push her beyond the "comedy" act so I wouldn't be overly fussed to see the back of either of them. I do like Claudette, though.

I'd probably be looking to cull what remains of the Masoods, myself. I don't see either Masood or Tamwar as strong enough to keep them an interesting family without Zainab. But I doubt any EP would be bold enough to cull three quarters of the cast in one go so they'll probably stay.

Yeah I'd have said there was loads more potential with the Masoods.

But now they're back to just Masood and Tamwar, they're going to be dull again so I wouldn't be sad to see the back of them.

I'm sure Wadia's said quite a few times that she'd readily return if asked but it's looking more and more unlikely given her new role in Holby City and she didn't even attend her own daughter's wedding. Masood and Tamwar are on borrowed time.

I'm not into the character assassination that goes on behind the scenes, that said. By all means, come up with flimsy excuses as to why Zainab can't be arsed to show up during any family crisis or big event but at least try and keep some consistency in the character and not make out that she's turned her back on them despite having no reason to do so.

Ditto with Zoe. It seems no one can leave the Square for 5 minutes and stay on good terms with their families. Totally unnecessary.

Nina Wadia was in Holby for 5 eps and finished her story arc, she won't be back there.

I see. I guess it boils down to whatever it is she's got coming up next, then, but I think it's time for the Masoods to call it a day if they can't lure her back any time in the foreseeable.
