As much as i like cody i don't think he made the series. i think derrick,donny and zach made this series and obviously Nicole(imo) who got me watching it but kept on watching it anyway after she went

I think Devin & Zach added a lot to this season for drama but the Hitmen pretty much made this season.

The Hitmen were the worst thing about the season, alongside Frankie and Xtine.

Devin made the show for the drama and craziness to start it. Zach made the show for entertainment purposes throughout. The Hitmen made the show as far as the US BB format goes, which if you like/appreciate the format and gameplay on the show, I think it also resulted in the two of them providing some entertainment that way as well.


Anyway, gotta defend Cody again after what I just saw. I was just watching a couple of the backyard interviews on cbs.com and Cody's interview 100% confirmed to me that he's just a really, really, really good dude. I straight up don't even understand how some people can dislike the guy unless you're trying to dislike him. This world would be a much better place with more people like him. He could easily be a douchebag considering his "good looks" but he's just a genuinely cool, nice guy. He has the characteristics of a really great brother or friend that I think he's shown all season. The worst things I've heard/seen of him are faaar from negative enough to overshadow all the positives.

Also, Donny's one of my favorites but I don't think he made the show in any way, he just had his moments and was a really good guy that was still fun to watch anyway. He was a really good addition to the show for sure, though, and definitely added some needed diversity to the cast.

It's not that Cody is a bad person, it's that he was an irrelevant puppet to Derrick, whined, criticised others for not making moves he was too scared to make and had an irrational hatred for one of the nicest people to ever appear on a reality show.

he also didn't deserve to win after he took Derrick to F2. He would've won against Victoria too.

Cody was a d-bag though as was my favorite Zach. most were at times. no biggie. doesnt mean they are bad/evil people.

Cody made a dumb move though. one of the dumbest in the show. he would have won if the took Victoria. Zach, Hayden and Nicole said they would have and just add Donny & Jocasta and there you go. so stupid. this is an individual game and no one should think less of him if the didnt take Derrick. all the stuff he wanted to do with that half mil he cant do now. even with the 50k he is still way behind on his student loan payments. hes says no regrets but some of his reactions made it look otherwise.

props again to Derrick winning the season but he is a right dick after winning in some of his interviews. calling Donny bitter over and over which is somewhat true but he said if Cody burned him he would have voted for Victoria cause that would be a messed up betrayal/back stabbing. what a douche. never mentioned the fake bs pact about Victoria being in F2 and voting for her. what a load that was.

some of these people are still delusional after the show. apparently Caleb is bashing Amber now and Victoria thinks she would have beat either Derrick or Cody in F2. no wonder she had a crush on Caleb. perfect delusional match made in heaven.

If Cody was a good dude, he wouldn't brag about one of his favorite past times being hitting on girls that he knows are married/in relationships just to piss their significant others off. If Cody was a good dude, he wouldn't look into the camera and say "sorry Tim! I know it's wrong but " and then pull Christine in even closer. All Cody has going for him is a decent gene pool. His personality doesn't do him any favors, and his only traits are whining and sucking snot every 10 seconds.

Cody: Absolutely. I knew that she wasn't a benefit to his game in any way. I knew she wanted to have those conversations with people at the beginning of the game, and she tried to have them with me, but I didn't want to be locked in with one person. So Derrick had that father role with her. He looked at her like a younger sister. So I knew they were extremely close, but I knew there was no game relationship at all. At least to his benefit. He's just an extremely nice guy.

First part, yeah he's a douche for that. That's not a massive strike against him, though. If it is to you, fair enough. Second part doesn't mean anything... he never took it ANY further than what Christine was doing, and she's the one who was married. The fact he at least felt bad about it and said sorry is a positive. He never did anything wrong there in those situations and gave Tim some respect continuously saying it was just a friendship and never taking it too far. Even on Christine's part, she wasn't really cheating on Tim, it's just not a way she should be acting with a guy when she's married. The only way you can handle that situation in the house better than Cody did would be to literally push Christine away, and since he viewed it as strictly a friendship there's no real reason that he should do so anyway, especially on Big Brother.


If you don't like his personality fine. If you don't like a few of the things he's said/done either then fine there too. Just don't act like he's not generally a good person when he's shown nice characteristics over and over again and has continued to after the show. I don't think he was an irrelevant puppet to Derrick cause they were both in it together as Derrick felt the same way, he just had some more thought out backup plans. Derrick was smarter than him but Cody still knew that Derrick was really good yet he made an honorable final 2 decision by remaining loyal. That's amazing that he chose that over a much more likely $500K, and was very ok with it afterwards. The rest were all Derrick's puppets while Cody was more like the side show puppet master than anything else.

Also remember... Cody wanted to make a lot of these big moves that he was criticizing other people for not making (example: Caleb early on in the season). Derrick talked him out of those moves, and Cody was smart to change his mind because especially if Caleb was evicted on Cody's HOH there's no way there would have been a Hitmen final 2. I guess it's still hypocritical but he did want to make big moves it just didn't benefit his game and he was talked out of these moves.

Not sure if you like Nicole or not but she did the same exact thing... criticized others for not taking certain people out yet she never did and had multiple opportunities (which unlike Cody passing on making these moves, it hurt Nicole's game each time she didn't take the opportunity).

I feel like the other reasons that were mentioned are very minor character trait dislikes. They don't make me view him as any less of a good person or BB player when he earned my respect in many other ways.

Listening to RHAP interviews, Derrick's such full of **** saying that Donny sealed his fate by not wanting to do the Team America mission where they had to vote against the house, and that Donny ~exposed himself~ with how he said it even outside the house Derrick's still trying to pander to America for AFP like the twat he is. He's definitely still seething at Donny and Jocasta for not voting for him because the jury's job is to not be bitter, and then said a minute later that he'd vote for Victoria over Cody

and then Cody's interview was dull and boring and up Derrick's ass, and Victoria's was hilarious. No surprises there.
