This show was anticlimatic. I realise they wouldn't have actually let some guy land a plane live on TV, and I realise what the message was but it really did not need to be live!
I said this to a few people already that him standing in front of the plane engines was just distracting and the only thing that had a (marginal) impact about being live was when he said "It's 8/9/10 and 11:12pm"

I found the whole thing mildly entertaining but I just couldn't engage with it at all. I just could not suspend my belief long enough to accept that this guy was so malleable and suggestible that he could walk out of his house in the middle of the night, have a conversation with Derren Brown, go back to bed and think it was all a dream.
If Derren Brown had such powers of suggestion he should immediately be seconded to MI5, or be employed by the government as a propaganda minister, or train spies for covert missions or.....you get the picture.
