I was a bit premature with my growing hopes a few months ago thinking plants would somehow survive the Irish spring so I've officially started right now. Have a bunch of Lowryder and Easy Ryder [Lowryder 2 crossed with AK47] germinating in between some damp kitchen roll in a dvd case under my nice, warm modem.

Hope this works. It'll be a hell of a ride. I'm looking foward to growing almost as much as I am smoking them. Almost.

I precracked the seeds so they should be showing some signs of life by the end of the week then they're getting ****ed into some compost and getting dropped off at some select secrete locations where I 'take my dog for a walk'.

How long have you been off the ciggies Stu?

About late November with a few drunken mishaps and a pouch here and there but been 100% off them for like weeks and weeks now I reckon it must be.

I just brought a load of paranoia on myself with intent and imagined all sorts of horrible stuff happening inside me whenever I inhaled cigarette smoke. Must be the easiest way to quit ever. I'd still smoke if I still drank but I barely do that anymore either.

I was looking into proper tobacco actually. The stuff these shamans from ancient cultures smoke. These dudes smoke it constantly and live very healthy and active lives into their 70's and 80's. Makes you think that the plant itself and what your smoking are two entirely different things. All the added chemicals are the real evil in that ****.

It's still got nicotine but nicotine is just the pure addiction part. All the added chemicals are what beats the **** out of your body.

Yeah, that is true alright. Have you found out anything about actually being able to get that though?

I've started running the last few weeks and have cut down alot because of that but If I want to be able to run any decent distance I'm going to have knock them on the head completely. I find it so hard though

I doubt you can get it commercially but I guess you could grow it. People don't do it because people don't like tobacco though. Those sticks you are smoking are just a delivery system for nicotine and social prop to hold in your hand. I can't imagine the heads around town getting off on chewing there tabaccoh leevesss.

Yeah definitely alot is to do with the habit of it all, like when I'm driving to work I always have a ciggie at the same point in my journey and at the same times during work

Have the seeds germinated yet Stu? Best to cover the pots with cling film to keep it warm and damp untill the seeds first come out.

I had a black cigarette today, it had a bit of vanilla in too. Apparently they are meant to be "better for you". It was quite nice but I much prefer smoking when Im drinking
