I liked Mollie, wouldn't have been very close to her/him but I always thought she was a nice person

Preferred 'her' as theharbringer. The piddles **** that appeared when mollie surfaced pissed me off no end. It was actually pathetic.

Yeah, I agree eith both of you. I didnt dislike her, but I always felt there was something not quite right about her and didn't really getvall the adoration.

Yeah, Mollie was a nice enough member, I have no issue with her/him. It was the weird adoration for her that I found odd.

Hmm when it comes to 'Mollie' I really dont get the whole "oh I liked the member's personality" argument tbh how much can have been his true personality if any at all? he stole a girls identity and kept up the pretence for years so how can anyone on here possibly know if anything he posted was true at all? from posting in threads that she had just dyed her hair (and posting a pic to prove it) or went somewhere with lizzy when really it was just a guy stealing the info and images from the real Mollie's fb, I also don't know how much members can truly have got to know "her" because there was no real conversation there all you have to do is read back some of the chat threads to see what I mean by that.

It takes a certain kind of person to make up a whole new life based on someone elses pics and be able to keep up with the lies for years IMO.

I completely get where you're coming from, and I do agree... I guess what I mean is that I like the personality they put across... even if all the superficial details were fake, I believe that the personality was real. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think perhaps using the fake identity was a way for that person to be themselves, or the person they wanted to be, if that makes sense. And to me, that is more real than anything else.

I pretty much have to agree with your post, Josy.

If honest, reading on all this Mollie/Mike stuff now, I find what they did more than a bit creepy if anything. I suppose we are never really going to know Mike's real personality, because if they could fake their online persona so easily for so long, which they must have delighted in fooling so many in doing, which to be honest is just what they did, so then they could possibly fake just about anything about themselves. I know I never suspected they were anything but what they said they were. But as I never really interacted with them on this forum, maybe that is all I will say on the Mollie/Mike subject.
