The top couple are recent enough to still be "active". Can we put the ridiculous claims that only certain people get infracted to bed, yet? I've also had a 48 (I think) hour ban within 2017 ffs.

I don't think there's much in the way of gang behaviour btw. I might not be that frequent a poster in SD but I read the threads a lot and yes discussions get heated but the 'gang' accusation only seems to come about when there's more people disagreeing with someone's views than there are people agreeing with them, and discussions about serious topics are bound to get heated so I kind of think that when it happens people should just be a bit more grown up about and accept it? it's not about gangs, it's just... people expressing their views. When it's reduced to 'omg you're ganging up on me' that's when it becomes childish and just not something you'd expect at all from a subforum dedicated to 'serious debates' and it becomes really off putting to actually contribute - I often find myself reading a thread when it's already a few pages long by which point it's already arguments and jibes or something completely off topic so I just don't see the point.

Yes, and his contributions to debates on the matter were always insightful and worthwhile. I'd have loved to have seen him take on some of the nonsense that's posted in this section now.

Sadly, he was permanently banned for other reasons. I can't remember if there's any other Muslims on here.

I'm not sure if it was the same person but there was a young Muslim who was very critical of Muslims and their practices - but can't remember their name.

Yeah. I'm Muslim. I used to call out some of the ignorance on here in terms of that and what Black people supposedly shouldn't be offended by, but nowadays I don't bother tbh.

No need for the sarcasm Josy, I can only comment on Salman as he was on the forum, I know nothing of his activities outside the forum, anymore than I can comment on yours, I am not part of any gossip circle within the forum so am not updated on the goings on that happen off it... all I know is when he was on here he posted about many things and I found him funny, he was then banned with a number of others around the same time if memory serves me correctly and most of them are now back on the forum, I could round on him and say what an awful person he is with no facts to back that up if you like

It wasnt sarcasm it was dissapointment tbh yes youve mentioned before that you know nothing of it but there was plenty of info going round the forum and most members noticed the many multis and the sort of stuff that was posted by them so it is kinda hard to believe that you were completely unaware of any of it.

I've still got a tendency to go ape when I get infracted. I use one forum group that have no boundaries and can get seriously nasty and then I come on here and get a slapping off the mods. Its taken me a while to get used to just how polite and pc this place is.

Not that I'm complaining but this honestly is a very polite and safe place to comment compared to other places.

Jesus, I find TiBB pretty relaxed when it comes to moderation harshness. What sort of oppressive regimes have I been posting in all these years?

i take every infraction personally and keep a tally of which mod/admin infracted me - a league table as it were

I often refer to Neem as Man City and Vicky as Palace
