Chic & Nile Rodgers absolutely smashed it. Enormous crowd too.

I saw them here last summer and they’re just epic, pure joy.

Yeah

Always impressive

I thought the two man brass section was a bit lean … three or four better maybe

Nice to see them play hit after hit after hit !!

Unlike the self indulgent Raye who just played ONE from her dozens of hit songs and left the audience bemused

Why is Olivia Rodrigo a headliner let alone Closing Glastonbury? I quite like some of her music but is she really that world class? It's an odd choice

She's Avril Lavigne if Avril Lavigne was dull as ditchwater.

In fairness she's doing pretty great! But I swear these glastonbury audiences are getting younger, there's so many 12 year olds there! Wasn't Glastonbury a festival that was supposed to be aimed at older adults? This feels like radio 1s big weekend!

Ohhhh...I now know where all the adults are...watching the prodigy on the other stage, yeah that's where I would have headed too. They should have been given the main stage

I don’t listen to Olivia Rodrigo’s music but I’ve got Glastonbury on in the background and she is very good live. The crowd are really into it as well.

I’d be happy to see Nile Rodgers and CHIC as headliners providing they boost up the brass section

Be cool if Chic could somehow incorporate an “& Friends” for a future headline set, with special appearances from people whose songs Nile has composed/produced.

Pharell Williams, Duran Duran (Simon), Debbie Harry, Sister Sledge etc, hey even Madonna if they can get her there at the same time. She’s surely LONG overdue a headline set too.

Would love to see Cher as the Sunday legend slot in the next few years too. That’d be fun.

Default Glastonbury 2025 (and 2024 archive)…

WTF is going on with the Future Islands lead singer !?

Sounds weird and looks even worse when he moves to the music…

They were pretty decent to be fair ..

Certainly better than some of the rot I have sat through these last few days

Probably the two best sounding bands musically were the 1975 lads and Olivia Rodriguez’s backing band
