i got the covids yesterday, i did think i could feel something in my body that was unusual, but i thought it could have been the wine watching the golf to late. But today I was a bit clammy doing my post , and my voice was deeper and croaky - nose a bit sniffly and a wee cough. I shall hunt out the lemsip. Oh i did do a test out of curiosity and it was pos.

Apart from that all good

I started with a sore throat and that evening I had a sore chest ... I thought like you that this strain didn’t attack the chest area but clearly for some it still does .. hopefully you aren’t gonna feel dreadful for 10 days like I was .

Since I got vaccinated I got nothing, not even a cold.
So I will definitely get another booster in six months time. As I'm in the vulnerable category. Getting covid could kill me, because of my kidney issues.

That's really good news Vanessa.

And hopefully the booster does a good job for you again in 6 months time.

What’s the record for getting Covid19 a second time after the first ?

My wife’s friend just tested positive a second time 92 days after her first positive test

it's all about antibodies and how long they are retained by the individual, so there could be a wide variation in time between separate infection. It also may not have been the same variant

My son's friend got it 7 weeks after having it previously. I think though he had Delta initially and then caught omicron when it swept through the class.
