Over here now for a bit of light relief!

Is it just me - someone answer me honestly - or some folk over there get REALLY irate when you have a wee joke about the gruesome twosome - I mean there are times that you would think its THEM you have made negative remarks about the way its taken so seriously............and its putting me right off posting - I think I'll stay here for a while till the heat dies down over there
No I'm with you on this, I got fed up to the back teeth of being told to watch this clip or he said this she said that or there was a boob touch at 6 mins and 3 thousands of a second but you have to slow it right down cos u might miss it. I mean FFS!!! the thread is a lighthearted piss take but some take it sooooo seriously it makes me question their sanity sometimes. I've also noticed that some posters seem to co-ordinate their efforts to try and get some kind of reaction it seems. Its happened on other threads which unfortunately got taken down because it got personel. I really can't be arsed with all that because the gruesome twosome mean absolutely nothing to me so I'm not going to invest time in getting all heated about them. So I'm also taking a time out until it calms down and certain posters get some perspective. I'm not holding my breath tho

Efty I dont mean the reasonable posters who disagree and argue the point, but really some a a tad scary!

anyhoo I should be working my socks off this morning but just keep looking at the pile and thinking "soddit"...............and for all my complaining I have posted about a squillion times on there since my last on here PMSL

Yeah I saw your posts about it, I've been expecting a few myself but none as yet. Totally uncalled for and what kind of sad individual does that?

Ha ha yeah I've been posting away myself, so much for my self imposed exile

Poor Frilly. hey, be assured in the comfort that when a person needs to send insulting / vile pms to another person all over a contestant on a BB show, I think that's highly indicative of who has the 'issues' (for want of a better phrase!) LOL.

Now....whatever did happen to that diamond ring, the 'just by chance' snaps taken with JJJ in a jewellers shop, her trying on diamond rings???

Or are they waiting till after Xmas, see how 'designer perfume sales' go, and if they don't rake in enough money from that, they'll go down the... Squuueeeee We're Engaged route!!

Hi folks! I tried to join the other place to add my voice to those who do not believe in the showmance but my account was deleted before I even got to post one single word anywhere! No idea why.

Anyway, I'm in total agreement with Happytree, Pats, Jak et al and totally admire your ability to stay calm in the face of much twitter bashing and outright blind fanaticism. Hats off to you all!

There seems to be some very uneven moderating going on ... a great shame really but most of the more intelligent posters have fled or given up on it now

I think that's really why I wanted to add my voice to the few on there. The comment made that there were only a select few people who disbelieve made me want to join and say that if I existed out there reading that thread in agreement with the doubters, there would be many more like me. Indeed, the majority of my non-forum minded friends think it's all a media sham but would never join a forum to voice that fact.

I'm not sure though that moderating my opinion had much to do with my account deletion though as, like I say, I hadn't even had the chance to write a single word anywhere before they deleted my account. They really would have had no idea what kind of poster I would have been! I have written to them asking why as no reason was given but don't expect a reply.

It's actually pretty exasperating seeing some of the things being said about the doubters on there but not being able to pipe up in reply! I should just stop reading but a lot of people are making a lot of sense for me in that thread.

The other place would be Digital Spy. Raggle I can't understand why u couldn't register, I had no problem when I first joined. However I would say that the T&C on the site are not quite as accommodating as those on here. Hope u can join us soon

Thanks POTS, yours are some of those posts I thoroughly enjoy reading and find myself nodding to with enthusiasm so it's lovely to finally have the opportunity to address you directly

I would love to join you all soon! I had mis-read their message a bit as I noticed since last posting that it said that they were deleting my "Registration" as I failed to meet their T & C's (without telling me why).

Although here seems rather good too, just not as busy. Let's poach people and bring them all here :P

Why thank you TBH both sides make some valid points but some do take it all a bit too personally. It is afterall suppossed to be lighthearted thread.

I don't know if you've been over today but we've started a whole new thread (Part 2 of the court case). Some interesting debates going on about JJ's hypocrisy in regards to Rachel and her entering the BB house for the sole purpose of mag deals when the first thing he did upon leaving the house was let em pencil in some crap looking Abs and pose half naked for OK magazine! Go figure.

Well I can only speak for myself but I have never said I hated them, I've never said I wanted them evicted, like them or dislike them they played their part in the Big Brother Soap Opera, I also did not spend the whole of the summer whinging about them, I had far better things to do with my time. I can also assure you that I neither have the desire to or have ever checked out anything they've said on Twitter. You might want to get your facts straight before making sweeping statements about forum members.

What I have done is give my opinion on whether I think the Romance between them is real or fake as the title of this thread suggested. I don't take it seriously because to be honest I couldn't give a flying ***** if their real or not, its not going to affect my life one bit. I do however like to have some banter and discussion with both like minded souls and others who disagree with my view as long as its constructive and good natured.

I respect your opinion and of course your entitled to it, I would however disagree that its odd for people to talk or vent about something that they dislike or disagree with, surely thats human nature? Come on admit it even you must like a good old moan about something thats peed you off now and again
Excellent post. This is a BB11 forum and any housemate who wants to remain in the public eye can be discussed

I had seen that it went on to part 2! Well done and all that jazz I have to say you've all had me in stitches this morning. That revised JJ poster was a particular favourite hehehe

There still seem to be instances of people taking it rather seriously though. I mean, the thread is hilarious for the most part with both JJJ fans and doubters providing the comedy value yet there still seem to be people who seem rather too sensitive about what total strangers on an internet forum think of their heroes.

It baffles me a little!

It baffles me a LOT

Had to put someone on ignore for the first time ever on there. The snide remarks and digs were getting too much and I didnt want to rise to it.

The hilarious thing is that peeps are now quoting this poster so Im having to read what she posted anyways

I seriously cant get my head round WHY its so important for us to have to "believe its real" - why folk keep posting clips saying they prove something - also PERSPECTIVE is required, you would think they were the second coming and I was being blasphemous in not believing in them, rather than two wannabees on a tellyshow!

Yes, I've just seen that Frillynix and I don't blame you really. One of the disadvantages to not being able to log-in is not being able to hide particular people's posts so I can only imagine your frustration at having to see them anyway. It all seemed rather angry and "baity" to me. Not a real word but you catch my drift!

I'm not sure why it's so important. I was accused by a friend of having had my head turned by "That poisonous forum". That was when I felt the need to explain that I'm a 32 year old woman who is more than capable of making my own mind up about people!

Nothing about them rang true for me after the newcomers came in the house. Before then I believed most of what I saw but even then, something just didn't seem to ring true for me, I guess a part of me wanted to believe but ultimately I just couldn't.

The media farce which has ensued only cements the opinion I had of them both before they each left the house. I will add my voice to the people stating that if BB expect us to believe that JJ1 just so HAPPENED to be there when Josie walked then they really are taking the piddle!

Oh I certainly know what you mean by "baity"

I dont give a stuff whats debated - if I really like a celeb and see bad stuff about them, I get a little self righteous, then think argh well its not affecting me personally - they are in the public and up for both good and bad said about them.

Its when I gave an honest view that I had looked at them clips they had put forward as "evidence" and didnt see chemistry between them, I was then told I was "not being honest"..........sorry but thats my line, thats where it aint funny any more! Its two wannabees on a tellyshow - and if someone has to get personally abusive to another FM over it, they need their bloomin head felt!

Ahhhhh the famous clips...the endless endless endless clips!!!! I swear I'm beginning to have nightmares about them.

I don't see chemistry, you don't see chemistry and almost all of the prosecution don't see chemistry. Never have and never will and yet they come with more clips and then even more clips. There are head locks there are swerving manovours that Mohamad Ali in his prime would have been proud of and then there is the time she finally rugby tackles him and he attempts to mount her....well its more of a going for the three second pin in a wrestling match but we'll give JJ the benefit of the doubt on that one......but not one bit of chemistry between the pair.

I honesty think the reason that some are getting arsey (well one person in particular) is because deep down they can see where we are coming from and they are really struggling to find anything to back their claim. The clips are quite frankly laughable as proof of a passionate love affair. I like you couldn't really give a damn if its real or not an I certainly have no emotional investment in them. The fact that some do to the extent that they actually get quite rude with another forum member is quite scary and as you say they really need to go away and have a strong word with themselves.

It does make you wonder what they take us for doesn't it? Not forgetting a camera man, a sound man and a lighting man also happened to be having a cig close by and were able to catch the totally random event for posterity.

We're soooo lucky

You could be right - I mean if you have invested so much of your time and energy watching something and having an emotional attachment then I guess it would be upsetting if you found out it was all a big showmance.

The bit that I find strange is that I can accept their opinion that its real.
But the crossness when I say I have watched everything and still thought it was fake - is beyond me!
