Let's be fair, both books only did as well as they did because of the names affiliated with them. Had someone else put Hold Still out with the same images and stories and still for the charity it wouldn't have sold as well as it did with Kate's name attached.

Meghan has to earn money, Kate does not as she is handsomely paid by the UK tax payer and the various Duchy grants for the work she does.

It doesn't need to be a pissing contest, both are in a position of privilege that us mere commoners will never know.

I haven't bought either book and won't but at the end of they day, both have set out to achieve what they wanted with their respective publications

And yet the press for Kate has some professional photographer gushing that she’s some sort of genius behind the camera and Meghan has literature reviewers acting like her book is the worst thing they’ve ever read.

This illustrates the entire issue whether you realise it or not.

The people on this thread trying to claim that Kate is putting out professional-quality photography when it’s the stuff you’ll see on the Instagram pages of pretty much any mum of young kids… it’s just a bit silly isn’t it?

And do you know what makes it doubly-stupid? I would bet good money that Meghan/Kate wouldn’t for one second pretend that they are a professional writer/photographer. Neither of them!
