Merry Christmas Tibbs

My first memory of Christmas was watching Batman at my Grandparents. It could be my earliest memory in life. I was being naughty, so my Nan told me off, and sat my by the Telly and told me start being good or Father Christmas will take all the presents back.

I always used to like looking at the TV Guide around Christmas, ticking off the films and TV Shows i wanted to watch - A list of past Christmas TV Listings

Playing Joseph in the Primary School Nativity is my only Christmas claim to fame. I don't remember too much, but apparently i went off script numerous times.


Anyway, that's enough about me, i hope every member on Tibbs has a wonderful Christmas. Christmas isn't what it used to be, but i know we all have very fond memories of Christmases past. May Father Christmas bring you all everything you want

I'll probably say next years is the best too - I hardly remember yesterday let alone a year ago.

Last year I posted a song from the Disney favourites Christmas album, I had when I was a kid. You said that you also used to have that album. It was the one with Micky mouse on a sleigh on the front cover.

I also posted "Silent night" by Bros and "Hark the Herald angels sing" by Charlotte Church.

I made the 8th of December so memorable.

Too much hassle for me posting clips of things.

I'm just in from my day out, lost at the doms.. the darts got cancelled for safety issues..was nearly epic at pool until the white flew if the end of my cue like a soaring goose. When it landed with a clatter against a disgruntled golf club members last chunk of scampi in the basket, the look on his face as my tourettes shouted "al have the 500 pound kitty for the next hole in one contest for that" well the look just said, time to go down the street for parmy.

So I did, and here I am, 3 am, 60 quid gone in the kitty at the golf club heaven knows how much down the town, But i went out with 140..and I've got 1 crumpled up five pound note, and a hooter full of white stuff..I hate myself and my weakness.

So tibb young ones....please.

From the bottom of my heart, please. Please don't be a arsehole like me..be strong, be true to yourself.


The 23rd is my 29 year old daughters birthday, she doesn't speak to me. No wonder, I ran away from her when she was 3, I was selfish then, and selfish now because I've given up hope on everything.

Only thing I've properly loved in the proper loving way has been taken from me by auntie karma..I deserve it.

Parmnion, you open up so much of yourself and although you and I don't agree always.
I've always liked you and there are times you have made me think things through too.

I recall we had series of posts where you asked me lots of questions.
It was really challenging and interesting as it had me re think on a few issues.

I hope you have a good Christmas and hope 2023 brings to YOU and all better than recent years.

I hope what I can try to convey to you here is that you are one on here which tibb would be the weaker if you weren't on it.

You have often made me smile, laugh, think on things and yeah I've got irritated at times too.
That last one is more from my own failings however.
Which we all have.

I wish you well and do hope too that you don't lose hope on anything or anyone.
