Jason and Bart news..

Hollyoaks star Victoria Atkin has teased the latest romance twists in store for her character Jason Costello, who will soon face a fresh rejection from Bart McQueen.

Bart (Jonny Clarke) previously had a relationship with Jason when he first arrived in the village as Jasmine, but their union came to an end when the troubled teenager started to live life as a boy.

Atkin told All About Soap that the pair's relationship will soon be revisited when Bart discovers that Jason is out on a date and starts spying on him.

When Jason hears that Bart has been keeping tabs on him, he confronts the rebellious McQueen at the shack in the woods, with surprising consequences.

Atkin said: "Bart denies [spying], of course, but Jason isn't having any of it and they start having an argument. That leads into a bit of a fight, but there's so much chemistry between them that they almost end up snogging."

"Bart pulls away at the last minute," she continued. "There's so much going on in Bart's head at that moment - he must be so confused. He loves Jasmine, but she isn't really there anymore and he's also worried about what other people would say if he started dating Jason, just like any other 16-year-old boy would be."

The actress added that the experience is a fresh setback for Jason, who has never been able to let go of his feelings for Bart.

"He's completely gutted, especially when he knows that there's something between them," Atkin said. "To make matters worse, he also later finds out that after their near-kiss, Bart went straight to Sinead's house and slept with her. It was probably to prove he's straight, but it hurts Jason nonetheless."

Yeah indeed, nothing really makes sense. I do hope they get Ste away from Brenden, it's REALLY dragging now And Noah's acting this weeking has been appauling.

Another thing that annoys me about Oaks is that people seem to be out the house at just the right time, Ethan, Doug, Noah all live in that flat. Yet Brenden breaks in and cooks breakfast and it just so happens it's only Noah and Ste there

I like Ste and Brendan together but not sure if they would ever work out? Noah is a waste of time and needs axing.

Emmett J Scanlan is the star of the show at the moment, he's doing other stuff outside of HO and is a good actor, plus he enjoys it there and met his co star girlfriend on set. A character like Brendan will get a commeupance at some point.. plan for him is a whole character arc to keep him around as long as they can.

Loads of inconsistencies which really need sorting out.

Oh that would be terrible. I've got a feeling Liberty will eventually exit after finding out about Ethan/Theresa and after finding out Theresa's secret will blackmail her but will just leave to go to university or something.

Think it might involve Silas if they're building up to the climax of his storyline.

Darren, Nancy, Rhys, Theresa, other McQueens (maybe not Bart) Mandy, Tony, Cindy, Brenden, Mitzeee, Warren, Jack, Frankie, Lynsey, Cheryl, Gilly.

For me they're the only one's probably good enough to be in one at the moment

I think characters like Eileen and Macca even though they were short term had potential, although Eileen is returning soon to cause some more problems for Brendan.

Ste and Brendan will get back together at some point to please their fans, it happened with Craig and John Paul.
