..hmmmm, it's often those evenings when you really don't want to go out/can't be bothered, that turn out to be the best times and a lovely surprise....(because you have less expectations with them..)...

...just off topic a bit but sort of connecting, I went to see Ladysmith Black Mambazo one time..obviously they have great music, which is a huge part of why people go to see them/to listen to them perform their music and it was all lovely and didn't disappoint in any way at all, like other artists I've seen live...but the thing for me that made their performance so much more than just a performance, the thing that made their lyrics and sound so much more than lyrics and sound was that they talked so much about their lives/their young lives in South Africa/apartheid...their struggles/their pains/their sadnesses and losses..the evening was probably 50/50 their story and the music...music has meaning and it's the meaning that makes the music for me...

I will do this if I have to but the last time I asked them to deliver to a neighbour they ignored it and I had to travel to York to pick up the parcel myself

..ughh, those deliveries that you have to collect yourself are so annoying, we don't have any close to us so it would be at the least a 40min each way drive and that's the closest...(of course it's never the closest one where the parcel is though..

..)...and yet some deliveries that you wouldn't want to be left outside, are just left there when you haven't asked for it.../each delivery company seems to be different...I don't know when you've left a note before, if you've signed it..?...but my regular postman once told me, that it's the thing to sign the note because then it's exactly the same as signing for a parcel/your request...some will do it anyway without a signature but some won't because 'jobsworth' etc and following the letter of the parcel law...

Indeed all lives do matter that's why we ask for people to care about black lives too. There's a video going around asking white people hands up if you want to be treated like black people, nobody put their hands up. Says it all.

And no Ammi, you don't need me you should care enough to know that Black lives matter doesn't mean ONLY black lives matter .
