There was an interview with Bronaugh Waugh (Cheryl) on DS talking about the Silas storyline and she said that it starts pick to the pace now in the coming months

Some good news.

Hollyoaks actress Bronagh Waugh has promised that the soap's serial killer storyline will gather pace in the coming months.

Since December, fans have seen sinister Silas Blissett become a dangerous presence in the village, murdering student India Longford and Doug Carter's mysterious ex-girlfriend Rebecca Massey. He has also come close to bumping off several other female characters.

The village's residents currently have no idea that Silas is the killer in their midst, although Irish nurse Lynsey Nolan has voiced suspicions.

Discussing the future of the dark plot, Waugh told Inside Soap: "We've got some really good stuff coming up. Silas will continue to run amok and that's going to build to a big crescendo.

"Lots of people in the village are involved with the storyline, so that's what we're working towards at the moment."

Waugh's character Cheryl Brady has formed a friendship with Silas, despite Lynsey's warnings that he is not to be trusted.

The actress added: "I hope Cheryl doesn't get hurt, as I want to stay! I think the viewers will be really excited to see how it all unfolds."

No way will they kill Cheryl off, she's popular with most of the viewers and she seems popular with the cast/management but I hope she gets her own storyline soon and I guess this must be Nancy's big storyline as promised (they better not have dropped it or i'll be disappointed).

Ruby leaves for a while but comes back, they must be hoping the audience like her eventually.

I thought Silas would try and kill her, wasn't to be. Maybe they might decide to get rid once Duncan goes?

Frankie needs a new storyline.. perhaps trying to mould Esther into Steph?

I really like Esther, she's so lovely but needs to grow a backbone. They need to develop the student group more. Did anyone notice the hint of new students in the Coffee shop article? Obvious they're meaning for the university.

Out of the school lot you'll have Bart/Jason/Seth/Sinead/Esther/Finn (when he's around) and Ruby.
