...Doc Hollywood...it was a 90's movie with Michael J Fox because it was on TV and what's not to love with any Michael J Fox movie, so 7/10..

It was on TV last night and I hadn't seen it in about 10 years? Teen films aren't really my thing but when they're done well they're pretty fun to watch and this film was one of them. It was highly entertaining and made me laugh on several occasions. It also features a great (and quite nostalgic) 90s cast. Sarah Michelle Gellar ![]() |

The idea behind this is great and completely original, the acting was good and the story moved along nicely, with enough scares to keep a horror fan satisfied. However, there were one too many plot twists for my liking, which kind of cheapened the film a bit. They should have stuck with the less is more approach for the ending like they did for the majority of the film. All in all a memorable movie that I would highly reccommend. |

..Captain America: Civil War...it was ok, it was good/I enjoyed it but they're all feeling a little samey and overdone to me as well..great fights though and I loved Black Panther, Ant-Man and the new Spider-Man actor..

			 ...7/10...

Snatch: First time watching this and it's probably my favourite film of all time. Everything about it was just perfect.. Can't believe it took me this long to see it. 10/10.

Pulp Fiction: First time watching this one too & it was also fantastic. I probably preferred Snatch, but just by a smidge. 9/10. |

United 93. I don't recommend it. It just hurts too bad noticing all that courage in the plane knowing it led to nothing. Each second you watched you hope it's a film and they make it especially since the heroes managed to make it in the cockpit just before it crashed you hope they make it, but then you remember it's not some Steven Seagal film. It's just so damn sad, crying so hard. Their heroism is to be applauded.

..Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close is a post 9/11 movie that I would recommend../it's beautiful but also incredibly sad in places so I'm not sure how you would feel about it...(movies help us feel emotions..) and I do think that it's good to be just so damn sad sometimes, the same as it's good to be so damn happy sometimes as well../it's all needed....anyways, my movie watches... ...Ant-Man..ok, I might have just said that these movies were all becoming a bit samey and overdone but Paul Rudd though.. ..he's just such a likeable actor and a lovely little antman....7/10... .....Straight Outta Compton...although I loosely knew some of the story of N.W.A. there was a lot I hadn't known and it was absorbing to see it all dramatized in a movie...great performances, I particularly loved Jason Mitchell who played Eazy-E and hadn't realised how he died...8/10.. ..

I do think that's part of the issue with Civil War... the old guard are starting to feel sort of stale. Black Panther and Spider-man stole the show IMO (including the action scenes) even though they didn't have huge roles. Ant-Man was good too. I enjoyed Scarlet Witch / Vision's scenes, too. The "oldies" though (Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye) felt a bit like it was phoned in / tired.

The Big Short - I really didn't enjoy this movie at all, it was boring, filled with explanations of financial terms, they basically tried to stretch "guy figures out the housing market is about to crash and makes a fortune" into a whole film which for me didn't work, also the ending was awful 2/10

Beasts of no nation - Brilliant film, Idris is always amazing but the little boy stole the show. Was hard to watch at times 8.5/10

It's a Netflix original movie about about the rave scene in America and it talked place at a EDM festival. The movie was cute but the story was corney, cliche and a bit Disney, it also didn't really seem to be going anywhere. Despite this it was still an interesting lil story and it wasn't boring to me. ![]() I haven't seen this film for ages and it's even better than I remember. Daniel Craig definitely showed us a more darker side to James Bond's character. Mads Mikkelsen (the Hannibal actor) was stunning as Le Chiffre and the ending of the film was awesome. This has to be one of my favourite James Bond films. 9/10 |

Mulholland Drive - I always thought I'd seen this film before but I hadn't. I absolutely loved it, total mind melt of a film and I did look up lots of Mulholland drive explained videos etc afterwards but it's so clever and emotionally charged and dark and beautiful, one of my favourite films ever I have to say 9.5/10

Devil Knot- true story about 3 boys that spend 18 years in prison for a crime they supposedly didn't do because now they have been released. Only one over 18 was put on death row. 3 little boys, sweet souls, were bound, one was castrated and they were murdered in 1993. It was a small town so because those 3 boys stood out as being in a satanic cult they are made the scapegoat. A documentary was released in 1996 about this and it got them Hollywood support from Johnny Depp, Marilyn Manson, Eddie Veter. Since technology advantaged they did DNA testing in the late 90s and one of the murdered boys stepfather's hair was found at the scene. He's not been convicted though because of alibi but many people believe he did it including the boys who were jailed. A lot of what I've just said isn't in the movie itself but I've been reading on this all night. Sigh amongst this publicity seems people forgot who really matter- the murdered boys. I hope they see justice, one of the mums is still fighting for it.
