Default Irrepressible dark horse proves hes a big sad schoolboy.......

Watching Marcus talk about himself as the irrepressible dark horse... an alter ego posted on his website just makes me think he needs serious help... and has nothing left but a homemade schoolboy character he lives through day to day until he loses his virginity.....

Marcus is the only deserving winner still in the house, he says what we all think, he comes up with hilarious jokes and one liners, and he is simply Captain Cool as ****, long live the Dark Horse

I suspect his Dad was the type that got drunk and beat Marcus and always went on about who he would or had punched out, beat up etc.
Marcus has, at first, created this fantasy shell as a defense.
The very sad thing is that Marcus is well on his way to becoming exactly like his father. Just look at what he did with Sree after identifying himself as a parent. Didn't take long before he was going to physically beat him either.

Irrepressible Darkhorse is more like Irresponsible Titmouse.

We cant put seriously bad role models up for public adoration just for good tv.. kids growing up are too easily influenced...it will spawn a generation of aggressive stalkers with bad dress sense...

I agree. I start liking MArcus but then I think... if I support him I am basically condoning his stalkerish/aggressive/bullying behaviour which would be morally wrong I believe and would put across the message to young people that it's 'cool' and ok to behave like that.

The same thing stops me from supporting Sophie cos she's not exactly a good role model for young girls is she

It's an intelligence thing. Apart from the scumbags who don't like him because he's not pretty the rest of the haters just don't get his tongue in cheek wit.

Oh and to the poster above. BB is made by adults for adults, not once should you be considering any of the fools who apply to the programme to be role models for kids.

Excellent point we should not once be considering anyone foolish enough to be a good role model to kids..only people who are good role models to the yorkshire ripper....

All I'm saying is young people DO watch the show, and of course they can be quite impressionable. Who is chosen as a winner is putting across a clear message of what type of behaviour is considered as acceptable by the general public

BB7, Pete
BB8, Brian

Do you not think they were worthy winner's because of the kids that shouldn't be watching in the first place get the wrong impression?

Kids aren't meant to watch, Big Brother does not cater for them, it is a show for adults.

Elproximo very sharp..very intelligent...great pick up on his identifying himself as a parent then the threat of violence..you could very well be right...

I don't think it is EXCLUSIVELY for adults. They show Big Brother and BBLB in the mornings and during the day so it obviously isn't.

I don't get your point about Brian and Pete?

I don't get your point about Brian and Pete?
Morning show has no swearing or adult themes, BBLB is a fanzine show.

Pete swore due to his torrettes and was rude and crazy and generally a bad role model, but did the fact that kids watch when they shouldn't change that he deserved to win? no.

Kids are not supposed to watch the regular version, hence why it is after the watershed, and this means that they ar enot entitled to think about any impressions kids will get because they don't expect kids to see it.

Marcus will come round and smack you/yer boy's ball bag with a spoon if you evict him.

Better to keep the legend locked up in North London
