Ummm... if you are trying to insert an image it needs to be:

[img] url of the image here! no spaces at the beginning or end! [/img]

You can just click the smileys on the right hand side next to the reply box and they will insert and should show up ok. Just make sure you don't have bbcode switched off.

Just do it the same way right click on the smiley and copy the image address.
