Channel 4 bosses are making sure Big Brother goes out with a bang in 2010 - by bringing back live streaming of the show during the daytime.

Fans will be able to watch live tasks in the afternoon on digital channel E4 when the final Celebrity Big Brother starts in January.

And after some viewers complained about the lack of live streaming in the Summer, up to eight hours will be shown every day.

Davina McCall will return to present an extended series of Big Brother's Big Mouth, with the show set to go out twice a week instead of once.

And as usual Channel 4 will host daily highlights shows.

E4 boss Angela Jain said: "Viewers will be delighted to know that live streaming will be available for a few hours each day on E4 and overnight when Celebrity Big Brother returns to Channel 4 in the New Year for the final series."

Angela declined to comment on the names of the celebs entering the house in January, but admitted finding stars was easier because people wanted to go in before the BB doors close for the final time.

Viewers threatened to boycott Big Brother 10 in the Summer after the 24/7 feed on E4 was slashed to just a few hours overnight.

As a result, average viewing figures for the series were down on previous years at around two million.

But bosses are confident fans will come back to the show next year because it will be the final chapter in the history of BB.

I never used to watch live feed in the day so not sure if I'll watch this or not live or just the highlights. I did like to watch live at night and natter on here - when they were awake!

This isnt exciting at all, you do know it isnt 'Red Button Feed' so there not doing nothing Again there just giving us a few hours in the day which is Pointless.

The LF Will be boring and then it`ll probley start to get good and then LF will go over onto ****ing Friends or somthen.

Time to stop crying over no 24/7 streaming methinks, if C4 can't afford it because noone watches it then its not really C4's fault

CBB6 streaming was fine anyway, a bit in the day in that boring bit between being home/tea and then overnight. Sometimes they're asleep and they could do with keeping them up later by letting them get up later, but apart from that it will be fine and its the third series without it so time to get over it.

I dont think i ever will make it rest, we were i think the first BB in the world (or was it second?), and now the only one without 24/7 which is the whole point since BB1. The tagline was always "us watching them live 24/7". The Italian BB im enjoying very much based on teh fact that i miss UK BB. ive been watching the live feed of it and makes me sad how much we are missing in the UK. Now with less interest in the media, we need the live feed at the most. With no LF and no media coverage we will not know ANYTHING about whats going on. At least with X Factor they tell us whats going on daily.

IMO, the best live feed hours are between 6-12. Shame that those hours wont be shown. Especially on the Fridays when we see them getting ready, and straight after the eviction. Theres always great tension before eviction to witness, one of them was the whole Bex/Mario eviction and when Mikey and Nicole had that argument about the cooking and she was like "Dont burn me!" hardly his fault he's blind. And everyone was hating on her.

People used to watch it live when it was innovative and when it was massive but since 2006 it has been an entertainment show rather than a reality show and people have stopped using the red button, its why they phased all the features out. As a die hard fan I can see why its annoying but it doesn't matter if we're the first, second, third, last or 56th country to not have live streaming, the British public simply don't want it. But one bit of streaming I do miss is the bit they used to show on E4 from 9.30pm-10pm between the 2 eviction shows (obv that would be later now)

In most peoples eyes, Big Brother is regarded as a freak show which should have ended years ago.

People don't want the one hour highlight show on TV, let alone a ****ing Live Feed. Lucky to even have what there was in BB10.

The show is a laughing stock I'm afraid, and it is no surprise that it is ending.

Its also an embarrassment to admit you watch it, especially in the rubbish years

No problem from 1-7 when it was popular, but from CBB5 onwards its been "that freak show that ruins lives"

Now if they would have ended it after the race row and brought it back around now, it might be a hit. Its no coincidence that this year X Factor, BGT, Apprentice and most probably I'm a Celeb have all seen their audiences rise by quite a margin, yet BB slumped to an all time low, and not just by a few hundred thousand. With reality TV at its biggest ever yet what was once 'the daddy of reality TV' is hobbling along to a slow death next year, doesn't that say something?

I get what you mean, but having 24/7 for the final ever series before it dissapeares forever would be good!

All my friends stopped after BB8 but because its the last series this time, all of them are going to watch it, so i wont be alone in talking about it.

BB UK is by far the best yet were the only country without a LF, and BB isnt a Laughing Stock, People do watch it and do like it.
So what if the ratings were down on BB10 Its for 3 Reasons...

1. Jade Goody ****ed BB up in CBB5
2. No Live Feed WHICH IS WHY WE NEED IT BACK
3. BB Were Lazy ***** when it came to Tasks and Twists


Dont blame the Public for hating it, as BB is still a popular show which is why it isnt being axed its leaving C4 and is likely to take a break and return to another channel.

BB Producers are the blame for thinking 'No Ratings? Oh well might aswell not try' during BB10 which is why the tasks where ****, and the Ratings were low. Because they didnt try to improve it!

And Blame Jade Goody, Idc if shes dead Im still blaiming her for what she done when she was alive.
Im not saying she was Racist infact I also couldnt give a ****, but if she learnt to keep her Gob shut during CBB5 Then BB would still be popular.

You all know this and as Tom pointed out..

Jade didn't mess up the show, the media did. Plus the ratings were down by over 1m before the race row anyway so I think the race row is getting more credit for ruining the show than it deserves. I think BB7 was the point where people had enough because they pushed the boundaries and couldn't give us any more for BB8, and BB8 was a recycled version of BB7. BB7 left them creatively bankrupt.

I'm not that embarrassed about watching BB, a couple of my mates still watch it, but not exactly the kind of thing I'll be updating my Facebook status about every day like everyone does after X Factor. But I can definitely see why some people find it embarrassing.

Yeah, but the fact that its the last series doesn't change any ones opinions on it, the majority of people are glad to see the back of it.

Not a chance of 24/7 Live Feed, and I don't blame C4 for that either.
