Plenty of great performers put on huge stage shows and still sing. I have a serious problem with miming because it's lying to your audience, plain and simple. Seriously, how cheap can you get.

The whole reason there is such a big performance in the first place is precisely to take distract from the fact that she can't sing. Same reason why DJ's need to use huge screens and fireworks to get the crowd pumped, or why daft urban acts need dozens of guys in coats to go ''yo, get up off your ass Scunthorpe!''.
