Default Can anything come from this?

Rightt, there is this group on Facebook called "*(the name of my teacher)* fancies me"... and it had like 200 members. Then yesterday, the teacher found out about it, and told a few people to leave it, and tell everyone to leave it, because he had to take names down from it. So people left, then he wrote all the people that were left down, and handed it in to school :\

There's 100 people left now, and a couple are my mates who won't leave it, for the lol'z...

I take it is pretty serious to accuse a teacher of fancying you? He's like, 50, but he does like to invade your personal space and everything :\

What can come from it? Xx

Nobody knows who made it, someone did it on their Aunties friends account or something, so they can't trace it back!

I think they're all gonna be in trouble for being a member!

It's a bit harsh to make a facebook group about it

Well it's basically accusing him of being a paedophile, but just like anybody, people are entitled to their own opinions and so can do and say whatever they want.

Now was this a joke group or does he seriously fancy this person? (Sorry I'm not sure if it's your group or someone elses). Because if it's serious, then obviously something needs to be done, but if it's just a joke then it is a little out of hand.

As for what will come from it, if it's just a joke I can see them getting pissy about it (as most schools would, they're like that), probably talk to the people involved about it. I spose they could talk to the police but i'm not sure whether they would or not.

Oh, if it's just the members then I can't see them doing anything to them, and if they did, then it's completely unfair and uncalled for. They didn't create it, and were simply just joining a group they agreed with. Can't stop people have their own opinions now.

I don't think there can be legal action for that, if that's what you're asking Nicky - and I also doubt there'll be disciplinary measures in the school; but they could contact Facebook and request the group be deleted I guess.

With 100 members I doubt they will all get punished, the ones who got punished in my case was I think the group maker and anybody who posted nasty remarks on the teachers in the group.

My friend made a youtube video of one of my teachers saying things which made him sound like a peodo (he does this a lot, but hes an alrite teacher just trying to fit in tbh), and he got 3 days for that.

And I agree Andy, tis harsh.

We get in sh*t if we make up groups about our teachers.
Last year/the year before, first years got suspended for making a group about one of my teachers..and it was like a nice group

We made a Facebook group about some teacher assistant thing who used to chase everyone out of the corridors. This was about 3 weeks ago or something, it got deleted. No idea why

At my school we werent allowed to be friends with any teachers, now that Ive left Im friends with about 8 of them.

But there was this teacher (male) that would perv over all the girls and drop his pen just to see peoples skirts, cant believe he hasnt got sacked yet because he is about 60 now and when my auntie was in school he was about 25 and teaching and was still doing the same thing back then. People did a FB on him, and it was taken off after about a month with about 200 girls on the group, the girls didnt get in any trouble though.

One guy got expelled from my school for making a Bebo group calling one of our teachers a paedophile. Nice, eh.

Schools are just generally power crazy against anything that goes against their own opinions, and if anyone dares to speak outside of what they believe themselves then you get punished. Load of **** really.

This is true, but I do find making groups or whatnot on the internet about teachers being peodos is wrong as they could seriously get in some sh*t.
Even though the teacher may seem peodo-ish.

Oh of course it's wrong. I wouldn't like groups being made about me, to be fair.

But instead of just having the group deleted, I could see a school organising a huge lecture with local police etc and calling an assembly explaining the rights and wrongs.

I know the majority of people in high school are as thick as ****, but for the people who aren't, it's incredibly tedious and insulting when we have to take part in things which are just common sense. Only today we were asked to write in our books 'what is the point of team work?'. I mean come on, please.

Ah yes I so agree! A lad in my year stole something from a shop (was probably only a chocolate bar or something), and we got a year assembly on 'why not to steal and consequences' lol.

Yeah we've had things like that before too.

If a guy was murdered in some town they wouldn't call a meeting in the town hall to explain why it's bad etc. It's exactly the same principle.

Exactly, most of us have common sense and know whats right/wrong.
It should just be the 'doer' that gets lecture at.
