Edit: Forget what I just put, I got the wrong end of the stick

Woah, what were the voting figures for each contestant Saturday and Sunday, do y'know?

Alot more people must have voted on Saturday, as Joe won with 60-something%.

Interesting.

Makes sense though really, Joe + George Michael was easily the best of the night and this years answer to Alexandra & Beyonce (although nowhere near as good). Then on Sunday Olly's performance of The Climb, although not as good as Joe's, was more emotional - and would've earnt him the sympathy vote. Oh, and his fans were very scared.

when it froze the % was

joe - 52.2%
olly - 27.7%
stacey - 20.1% (3rd)

and then on sunday when they closed the voting it was

joe - 61.3% (+9.1%)
olly - 38.7% (+11%)

meaning olly beat joe on sunday.

I was surprised by Alexandras style of music after she won the show last year.

Yeah but that was never going to happen. Plus with 3 people the average % between each would be lower. When Stacey left they made that average go up. So its nothing huge

Rubbish! If the Saturday votes hadn't of counted - then those that voted for Joe on the Saturday would have done so again on the Sunday! Would have made no difference to the outcome!

Hardly closed a huge gap, did he? And Olly would have gone on the public vote against Jedward if Dannii hadn't saved him three weeks ago. On reflection, that probabaly cost Stacey a place in the last two.
