Default Does Sov like Lady Gaga?
There's a few female musicians out there who have 'lady' as their first names, I wonder if they are all rivals or cool with eachother, does anyone know?

Katia mentioned Lady Gaga on launch night and Sov said 'oh no', but it might have been coz Kat said she didn't want LG played for her entrance!

Lady Sovereign has been out long before Lady GaGa.

Lady GaGa got her name as when she walked into the studio she would always listen to Queens 'Radio GaGa' and her manager called her Lady GaGa for fun, and that then became her stage name.

Its got nothing to do with them being rivals or anything.

I can't stand Lady GaGa. I've heard one song and refuse to listen to anymore, Lady Sov has got a few decent tracks tho

Why is is the ones that are certainly not 'ladies' that insist on calling themselves that?

Perhaps it is, despite their rebellious streak, a deep rooted desire to be accepted and feminine!

Lady GaGa has been 'Lady GaGa' since about 2005, so Sov may have been in the spotlight longer but that doesn't mean she had the name first. Saying that, I know nothing about Sov so I can't really say.

I doubt there's any rivalry between them, she probably just dislikes her.

Well you're in a minority, coz chart-wise Lady Gaga has had loads of no.1s/platinum records/sell out tours etc. and all that has happened in just over a year, oh and everyone is talking about her and imitating her, Sov was a bit of a flop which is why she's on BB!
