Default Lady Gaga dresses stupidly in an attempt to be different
you can dress differently from the crowd while not looking like an idiot
at the Brits that was just embarassing what she was wearing
a bikini, a mask and some stupid thing on her head
why? just why? what does she gain from dressing like someone who has escaped from a mental institution?

Btw yeah she does to it for attention, and to make her more popular and it works. Do you really think she would be this popular if she wasnt so wierd. Its all an act I think. Shes a smart person.

And what exactly is she expressing?

I have no problem with her music, fine electopop, but the lady herself is clearly thick as a pig. Unlike other shock artists of years gone by, there is no point to her act. Plenty of musicians in the past have dressed outrageously to provoke people into thinking about something.

She is just provoking people as an end unto itself. The girl would cut her hair off and eat it and consider it 'art' like these silly new age artist tossers. It's only art if meaning is behind it.

I completely disagree.
How is she as thick as a pig? There is too a point to her act because with out it she would just be an average singer that no one could actually care about. There is no way she would be as massive as she is now if she didn't dress so outrageously.

and I doubt she would cut her hair off and wat it cause she would probably die.

Its her music that is the real product here. Thats what has really made her successful. The outfits are just the packaging.

Her outfits won't save her when the music begins to stink.
