Ashley Cole has blamed his mother-in-law for the breakdown of his marriage to Cheryl. The Daily Mail has reported that Ashley Cole is blaming the breakdown of his marriage on Cheryl's mum, Joan Callaghan.

Ashley has allegedly claimed their marriage couldn't "stand a chance" due to the fact his mother-in-law moved into their £6 million Surrey home two years ago. Cheryl was famously close to her mum, and Joan was often seen out and about with the young married couple.

And here was me thinking he was going to say her mum had sent those texts and shagged those other women.

i know he cheated, but we dont know all that went on there!
He obviously wasnt happy.

If he was unhappy, he should have LEFT. Not cheated. LEFT. As far we know, he had no intention of leaving her because it was Cheryl who broke up with him after finding out. He cheated on her. Numerous times. He is just a scumbag.

Not "slapper", there was allegedly four different women named this time around.

I dont know how much sleeping he actually did with any of them, he is supposed to have played hide the sausage with one of them while attending an away game, prior to the game if the allegations are true. Another he is alleged to have had a fling with was while in the States.

I'll bet he's a lot less happy now he's been found out. There's no excuse for that kinda ****, when you grow up you'll understand. If something isn't right, you're not going to make it better by cheating - you have to work out your problems in relationships.

Yeah and it was nothing to do with the fact he was shagging anything with a pulse.What a dickhead,typical cheating bloke mentality that is,blame it on someone or something else.
I find it odd that Cheryl`s mam lived with them,surely she could have just lived close by but even so Ashley claiming this is the reason he cheated/split up w/e ,its rediculous.

Agree - it is riduculous her mother was living with them! Cheryl needs to grow up a bit and her mum needs to loosen the apron strings - but still no excuse for that creep Ashley.
