...Add 'swear' words to their songs even though they know it will be censored out?

Akon has said Bitch and Bullshit in 'Sexy Bitch' or 'Chick' as its refered to now, and 'Lonely'

Lady GaGa says Bitch in Bad Romance.

These are just 2 examples, theres alot more.

And they are always blanked out, either replaced with another word like Bitch turned to Chick, or by just removing the word.


In GaGa's Telephone, she says 'Fucker' and the Lesbian Gaurd says Dick.
This wasnt blanked out, but I imagine when that video is aired on TV it will be removed.




So why do Artists do this?
Does it annoye anyone else?

It doesnt piss me off that they swear, thats not bad.
Its the way the ****ing record lables or whoever it is, blank out words like Bitch which we hear all the ****ing time anyway!

But it's just the lyrics, usually after the watershed the un-censored version will be aired

I noticed that a few weeks back, but it makes it easier for me to see my threads.

It's sort of like it is on TiBB I guess. Even if the swear is censored, everyone knows you are swearing, thus the same effect is still achieved.

That's just the single version though..
the album version keeps the swear words and therefore it keeps the same effect.
If they want to release it, they'll have to blank it out yeah, but at least there's an uncensored version (in most cases anyway)
