Question What was your favourite Harry Potter Film & Why?

Whats your favourite Harry Potter Film and why?

Did you like the early stages or the latest dark stages of the films?
I know everyone says the books are far better than the movies, but whatever.

I've been watching a few clips on Youtube of the HP Films and what I have noticed is, they definiatly get darker and scarier as they go on.

I also think its brilliant how anyone who has watched from The Philosopher's Stone up to The Half Blood Prince, has seen the characters grow from little kids into adults and thats really good to see IMO.

Every film they look older and better.

Usually, when somthing I love comes to an end im quite sad, like Big Brother.
But with Harry Potter's ending begining in 2010 and ending in 2011, Im not that upset because it needs to end sooner or later.

IMO the movies have gotten abit less intresting as time went on, you can see they have lost their spark and its all now about fighting voldermort.

I would have to say the worse movie for me is The Goblet of Fire, it just went off topic completely and onto some Wizard Olympics that bored me.

The best is probably between HP1, HP2 or HP3.

And I cant decide at all which is the best out of those tbh.

Harry Potter 1, I love the story and how it starts off.. I love watching it back and seeing how everyone has changed from then.

Harry Potter 2, Was Brilliant, Again the storyline was fantastic and we were introduced to what are 2 of the best Characters in the series.. Moaning Myrtle and Dobby the house elf, Who I just learned as died

Harry Potter 3, This was when the movies did start to get darker I mean you can tell by the trailer..
The font in HP1 and 2 was Bright Yellow and then from here it turned grey and dark.
In HP3 I loved the begining, Sirus Black was a legend, And the Defense against the dark arts teacher, was easily the best here.

Out of all of them, by a tiny little bit im going to go with Harry Potter 3 as my favourite.. Infact im going to go watch it soon lol

So which was your favourite and why?

5 was the worst.. because well Sirius Black's death just randomly happened.. was not much action in it but I still liked it. 6 was good but the build up to Dumbledores death was not much.. not much happened when he died.

Jesus the last part of film 7 is coming out 12 years after the 1st one was released! Jesus we have been brought up with Harry Potter! Harry Potter will have been in our lives longer than BB UK. Unless BB is bought by another channel next year. (BB will continue though, I just know it, if not on next year, it will be back in a few years! do not worry, sorry If I am wrong!)

They need to come up with a new or added concept to BB, love the 'secrets' idea in the French version.

Ikr im so annoyed at the year gap in between this.

Could you imagine if 2012 was the end of the world and the only thing Potter fans cared about was 'OMG I need to see the last part of HP7!'

Your right though, Im certain BB will continue on another channel or on C4 in a few years when they are lost for viewers.

So far 3 Channels are intrested and it hasnt even ended yet, just wait until BB11 gets big ratings (CBB7 did end with big ratings) then more channels will be fighting for it

I think the Secret Story thing would be good for a twist One year, I know when another channel does buy it.. they could possibly kill it for all us fans and ruin it by changing it too much and copying another countries **** version like the USA which will fail over here tbh.

I think they need to keep the same BB UK Concept, but tweek it abit every year

Goblet of Fire.

It was segmented well and had a real storyline to it, with the competition thing (I really don't know all the HP terms).

I love them all though, I thought the Order of the Pheonix was under-rated by the media.

Order Of The Phoenix. It's very fast paced, has a lot going on in it, introduces loads of new plot elements, and there is lots of Lucius and Bellatrix.

The movies have gotten better as they have went along, IMO. The whole point is fighting Voldemort. That's what Harry Potter is.

The tournament is an important plot device as it serves as both the ongoing event for GOF and acts as Voldemorts mode of return. Have you actually read the books?

I think she reminds me of Amy Whinehouse LOL
