CULT film Star Wars is being made into a SITCOM, it has been revealed.
Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, the funnymen behind the Robot Chicken Star Wars spoof, have joined forces with the animation arm of George Lucas's Lucasfilm to create the TV show. Details are closely guarded but Austin Powers star Seth, 36, sent a message to Star Wars fans saying: "Let us assure you this isn't going to suck as much as you think it is." He also revealed that the sitcom will be narrative and character-driven rather than being done like a sketch or spoof. In a nod to often-slated character Jar-Jar Binks, Seth added: "We're not talking about Jar-Jar electrocuting his tongue. It's not that kind of humour." The Sun |

Oh dear god.
Why cant they make a Harry Potter mini series or somthing, not this. Star Wars is dead.
