I hope Ronnie beats Selby, would be a nice revenge for their match earlier this year. I'd like to see Ronnie vs Robertson in the final, but I'm not sure the bracket can allow that to play out.
I think I've found a soul mate. Robertson and O'Sullivan are my two favourite players, I really do think a final between them would be class.

As far as I'm aware, it is possible (these are the Quarter Final matches);

Steve Davis (Eng) v Neil Robertson (Aus)

Ali Carter (Eng) v Shaun Murphy (Eng)

Graeme Dott (Sco) v Mark Allen (NI)

Mark Selby (Eng) v Ronnie O'Sullivan (Eng)

Copied and pasted from here

Judging by the how the other previous round matches have been listed, it seems entirely plausible that Ronnie and Neil could end up in the final. Let's say Neil beat Steve Davis, he'd then go onto play either Ali Carter or Shaun Murphy [I think], and the same with Ronnie and either Mark Allen or Graeme Dott. Should they both win those semi-final's, they'd meet in the final. I think I'm right, anyway...

Ronnie has pissed me off a bit today. He was absolutely on fire the last round and has now come out being quite disrespctful to his opponent by watching the other match and sitting away from him instead of in his seat. He's also acting sloppy. Typical Ronnie blowing hot and cold but he's looking at the brink of doing something daft like chucking the game in if he doesn't pull his shots.

ACT TOGTHER TIME!!!!!!!!!

I think Selby is going to win this match. Shame, because I was really holding out for a Robertson VS O'Sullivan final

Ronnies strop about the touching ball earlier. I half expected him to whack all the balls all over the table in a temper

So pleased for Robertson! I really hope he wins now, but both Dott and Selby are going to be difficult to beat.

Robertson making a comeback! Dotts getting stressed tonight. Touch of the Ronnie O'Sullivans on that re-spot!

I'm still disappointed that it wasn't a Robertson Selby final.

Quite a scrappy match at the moment. This could go on a while.

Ah, so, so pleased for Robertson! I knew he'd make it one day - and he thoroughly deserves it.

Rubbish final though. They were both fairly pants in it. I suppose they were very tired and nervous. I wonder if the whole Higgins thing had an effect on them?

I think it directly affected Dott, i think i heard that anyway.

Such a stupid thing to have it start at 3.... why not 12???? that made me angry....also a lot more coughing from crowd than i had heard before......watched some highlights to make sure and some were deffo doing it on purpose.

Yeah, starting at 3 was just plain stupid.

you obviously have no appreciation for the sport, the skill involved and the stamina.

As far as I can remember, the afternoon sessions on the final have always started at either 3PM or 2:30PM. No idea why though.

In relation to the other question, you could tell Dott was tired, but Neil was desperately trying not to make a mistake - and can you blame him really? It was the biggest match of his life and I'd certainly be taking things slowly. And it paid off, thankfully. I'd imagine if he made another final he'd be more relaxed now.

Yeah at one stage i thought he'd bottled it.....really thought dott would take it from him, then dott did the hit and hope shot...after that i think even dott knew it was over. Very gracious and endorsing of Neil though. Always liked both of them so was happy Neil got it.
