Its just terrible isnt it.


Has Corrie got a new producer too?
I think its horrible how many people are popping up every day to be axed.

Its like they are dieing LOL

I cant wait to see Hollyoaks and Emmderale's Death Toll, I mean Axe Toll too.

Then we can count them up.

Hollyoaks, Corrie and EastEnders have all got new producers Emmerdale still has Gavin, he did all the axing already xD

Yeah Gerard McCarthy wanted to quit last year but he was convinced to stay on a bit longer.. he's going to do West End but said he will definetly come back in the future.

Yep that is as maybe for some! However as each character or group of characters comes to the end of their possible storyline development new story lines come in. Why worry?

No one is worrying.

Alot of people are generally happy with the axings, its just the fact with the new producers some well loved characters could drop at any time thats the only sign of worry some people have I think.

Nah I think most new producers going into a soap think(thats the operative word) they have a feel for that soap and tend to keep the decentcharacters they can develop and bin the ones that they cant or the ones that really grate on people.

Like in Hollyoaks I quite like Calvin but his sisters and dad are a complete waste of airtime.

Stacey? are you mad? The most unrealistic storylines ever not only that but her strylnes have evolved to kick into other characters and make the tissue of the program almost unbelievable.

Stacey is an awesome character, a lot has happened to her but the character is very popular and her departure will be felt a lot.. still at least she can return in the future.

Kim Crowther did quite a bad job with Corrie, she was happy with the status quo (and no not the band who appeared for Les and Cilla's wedding xD) she so no need to change anything, where as Phil is the opposite, apparently they wanted him when Steve Frost quit, but they couldnt because he was too busy with Dr. Who

A Corrie forum I visit is the worst for opposing change, I mean, they complain even if something tiny changes on the street
