I'm not sure if this is the correct place to put this but oh well, here goes.

In feb last year my parents split and I moved into a new house with my mum, everythings much better with me and my dad now so that's good, the problem lies somewhere else. My mum is bestfriends with someone from her work and for years and years (basically as long as I can remember) she had been coming to our house when we lived with my dad and staying all the time and spending practically everyday with us. She's single with no kids and did however go away for holidays with her own family. Since we left my dads though, she practically lives at our new house and NEVER leaves, plus she's got pregnant by IVF and is due her baby any minute so literally hasn't left me and my mum's house in around a month. What makes it worse is now she doesn't leave for holidays because her family has disowned her for having IVF when she's single. I've explained to my mum so many times how upset it makes me that she is here all the time because I need space in my own house and like to spend time with my family alone but she just pretends to understand but then blows up and calls me selfish because her friend is "lonely" and why can't she be part of our family. If you have taken time to read this, thanks, I would just like your opinion really on what I should do/what you think.

Oh my god! I know how you feel. My mother has a friend who suffers from bi-polar disorder so she falls out with her family a lot. She is actually really scary when she hasn't taken her medication and I tell my mother I feel uncomfortable when she is in our house but my mother just doesn't listen. Sometimes the woman could stay in our house for up to two weeks in a row! Luckily she hasn't visited in a few weeks but I think she is gonna visit in the next few days.

There's not much you can do really. At the end of the day it's your mums house. However, really exaggerate how much it's getting to you, threaten to move with in with your dad if that's a viable option. Just tell her that you feel really uncomfortable, especially with a baby on the way and it's distracting you from school/college (I'm assuming your 16/17).
