Probably to make it seem completely random. When infact the whole list of housemates was probably pre determined weeks ago.

Hence why the Sun was already telling us a 'Jordan Lookalike' would be entering the house.
Some sources already knew.

Theyy said a lot of HM's would go in that didn't. They were referring to the shortlist rather then the picked HM's.

Wasn't a fix. Davina didn't waste two minutes of air time explaining it all for it to be a fix! And if you looked the bottom of the mole suit didnt fit so it wasnt fit for a 6 foot man!

If they wanted Mario in they could have just chosen him normally. This was a genuine lottery draw and the producers wouldn't care too much who won it. They did choose the 80 finalists after all.

Plus the winner has a tough task so they may not last anyways.
