Default Toy Story 3

I just got back from seeing Toy Story 3 and I can honestly say that it's one of my favorite Pixar films (although all of them are amazing). I'm not sure when it is released in the UK, but when you get the chance, go see it.

I honestly am not a fan of sequels because I think that they never match up to the original, and in this case it had two amazing films to live up to.

[Now I'll maybe give some spoilers, but nothing big]

Although most of the film is action/adventure, the final 15 or so minutes really pull on your heartstrings. I've grown up with the Toy Story films and now that Andy is at the stage where I'm at, it really hits home.

Anyways, whenever it's released, I definitely recommend that you see it.

It looks great from the tidbit clips i've seen. When it comes out on DVD here, I'll definitely buy it.

From the off I thought it looked good, a good story line, and doesn't even seem like they're milking it, like with Shrek. Will definitely go see it.

I'm 17 and I absolutely love Pixar films. Can't wait 'til this comes out.

It's everything you would have expected from Pixar: beautifully mounted and enchanting, with the usual crew of brilliantly rounded characters battling their way through an even darker narrative, but I quite often felt a sense of deju vu while watching it - like I'd been here before, give or take a few modifications in the narrative. But hey, when it's done with such flair I'm not really bothered, although I'm still not quite sure that this third installment was entirely necessary, particularly when it plays so closely to the original two flicks. Still though, another high quality spectacle from Pixar's enviable cannon of family movies.

Toy Story 3 was an amazing film and a fitting ending to the series. After seeing it I agree it's more mature than the first 2 as it's darker and funnier. The plot was great and the many new characters each bought something new to it. The old faves that remained were each still the same.

That said I prefer the simplicity of the first film's plot, but didn't really like Toy Story 2 much. Even if it did develop the background characters, the second one didn't introduce the msot interestign of newer ones, and the whole plot about Woody being shipped to Japan was a bit bland because it mostly took place in Al's apartment.

Anyway, Toy Story 3 was brilliant, but still prefer the first one that little bit more!

Amazing film. Much better than the second, and probably on par with the 1st.

Watched it in 3D, makes films so much better.
